Great. I would also recommend posting a slimmer version with just the resourcepacks, mods and config. It would be so much smaller and easier to manage as people sould just install forge and drop it all into their .minecraft directory. They could also put it in a new folder and tell their forge instance to use that folder. It would function exactly the same with no multimc installation. I think that is a big turnoff for most. You could also put it on a launcher like Technic, so it is a one click install. https://technicpack.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204199345-How-to-make-a-Minecraft-modpack
I also have another mod you should look into.
With a showcase video and server advertising, this thing could do pretty well on Technic.
Also, many people like their 1.8+ skin, so I would suggest adding this so you don't see as many Steves and newer players that are checking it out complain. https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/skinport
Aether legacy might be a nice addon, but I can't say I would suggest it, as it was more of a beta mod and not a part of vanilla minecraft.
One final thing. Classic sky tones.
