How long have you played on Killion?: Almost one year and two months.
Have you ever been muted or banned?: Unfortunately, yes, I have been temporarily banned once.
If so, why and for how long?: My first day of being in AQUA, I decided to tag along in a raid against MoB. Little did I know, a player used a sheep egg to get into the buildings. Kdog witnessed this and banned most (if not all) of us. I did not benefit from the glitch, nor was I aware that it happened. The ban was for 3 days, and I can promise you that I have learned my lesson.
Why do you believe you're suitable for the Moderation role?:
I believe I am suitable for the position of Chat Moderator because of my dedication and willingness to help in the EvolutionGaming community, as well as my mature and level-headed attitude both in-game, on this thread, and on the EvolutionGaming forums. I am friendly with most, if not all, players I encounter. Finally, I am capable of typing pretty fast, which comes in handy when trying to assist players with any questions they have.
I've been a part of the EvolutionGaming community for over a year, doing my best to assist anyone who needs help. I took a break from Killion for 2-3 months after obtaining Free, focusing on assisting people and making them feel welcome on the EvolutionGaming forums, as well as trying to promote the forums and get more people to use it. Currently, I try to welcome everyone who posts an introduction, direct players to the proper Minecraft Forums thread, and try to answer any questions players might have.
I just recently received the rank of Forum Moderator, which shows that I am able to hold a position of responsibility. Ever since I received the position in late December, I have been trying actively to improve the EvolutionGaming forums by removing rule breakers, helping players, and stopping arguments. Also during this time, I was working towards Chat Moderator on the Arcade server. Unable to stay away from Killion, I came back, once again eager to help the server in any way I could, coming to the conclusion to go for Chat Moderator again.
Although there are Mods on throughout the day, the server population hovers around 150-250 players. That's a lot for just 2-4 Chat Moderators, doing their best to answer every question players might have. I am here simply to lighten the burden that they face. A lot of Chat Mods have helped me get started on the server and helped me progress through the prison, and I just want to return the favor in any way that I can.
I received the rank of C Guard within my first month on Killion, so I know all guard rules and procedures almost inside out. This can come in handy if players are having an argument over Guard procedures and rules. I have pretty much memorized the Killion rules and Chat Moderator procedures, which can come in handy if I am put on the spot to deal with a problem. Being a Citizen, I know a lot of information about each of the blocks, both in the normal prison and the Prestige prison.
Whenever Chat Mods, Wardens, or Senior Wardens come online, they are swamped with questions most of the time. I would like to help them out and relieve some of the stress that they might face.
Extra Information: I hope that my ban does not prevent me from obtaining Chat Moderator, as I have been working towards this position for at least 6-7 months. I have learned from my mistake, and will not let it happen again.
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my application, and good luck to everyone else applying.
Mark so on EG forums do we just make a new thread and title it what kind of report it is and post it there?
If we do will we know if we get a response? Thanks
If you want to make a report, yes, make a new thread. You can see your own thread, so you'll be able to see if your report is replied to.
As for the title, Sky said not to put the player's name in the title, but in the post instead. I suggest you just make a default title, such as "Block Glitching" or "Player Spamming."
For those who don't follow Mark on twitter or weren't in game when Mark told everyone, the new Killion PVP update list has been posted on the EG forums listing all the new features coming next week:

I am currently doing my best to make reports when there are no staff online, but I feel that it would be more efficient if I could deal with the players on the spot, rather then bother another staff member by posting a report. In Game name:cde1 and dje i was banned on multiple accounts for xraying. i love this server why would i ruin the fun of playing vanilla minecraft please reply so we can talk further or skype me at corbin.eagan1 i really hope someone helps.
If you want your appeal to be considered, I suggest you use the full appeal format, which can be found in the OP.
I would also like to add that maybe the Chat Mods/Sec. Mods (Whichever you see best fit) get permissions to ban and other useful commands like the MCF IRC has -- (I.E. +Skyblu for Sec. Mods/Chat Mods while the admins still keep the @Starzy) this isn't really essential, but it gives us another thing to moderate or be in there to help players.
This is a cool idea. I love IRC, and I'm glad it's finally implemented. Going off of what Sky said, voiced users (+) cannot do anything to moderate the channel. OP is the only position that can moderate on EsperNet. Too bad EsperNet doesn't have Half-OPs like some other networks do.
If Mark and Starzy wanted to keep OPs for Wardens / Admins only, when activity on IRC increases, my suggestion would be to set the mode "+m" on the channel. Mark already knows what it is, but to everyone else, it's a mode that lets only users voiced by an OP talk in the channel. People can get "auto-voice" set on them if they don't want the hassle of waiting for an OP to voice them. Setting +m on the channel allows Wardens / Admins to moderate the channel + keeps the number of OPs down.
Pros:
-Removes trolling almost completely since there has to be an OP on to voice people
-Creates the ability to mute and unmute by giving and removing voice
-Since OPs are the only users that can voice users, they are already there in case someone starts spamming / trolling
Cons:
-Users can't talk all the time - only when an OP is there to voice them (unless they have auto-voice)

If I recall correctly, you could never apply for E-Speaker. I could be wrong though.
I'm guessing you still can't apply for it, since we have not received any information from Mark or Starzy.

Nope, unless he changes his mind on the subject, Mark said people will not be able to appeal IRC bans. However, this might change in the future.

Talking in 3rd person and coming up with a cool name? Mic approves.

If you want your appeal to be considered, I suggest you use the full appeal format, which can be found in the OP.

Correct, if you buy currency on the EG shop, you will not receive Premium. You have to buy Premium separately.

No, her announcement was for in-game Premium subscriptions (donor).

Judging by the announcement, I'm assuming ALL reports go on the EG forums.
