It would be awesome if there was a way to change the pictures in normal MC to Rosie's art.

Recently, I finished spellbound caves. However, early in the map I set set the difficulty to peaceful because I died with a lot of stuff in the 1st dungeon ( :DA: ) .

I dislike when it is super hard to set up an early base, which of the maps, other than SBC, has an easy starting base setup?

This will be the map I take on next.

I woud recommend hills of moo. Then uninstall minecraft. The picture is loading for me now.

But what if he does this:

with EVERY spawner? No mob farms.

    EVER.

I think you are forgetting about natural spawns.

They all sound pretty awesome. What's the difference between the unholy hand grenade and the holy hand grenade?

Holy hand grenade would work against undead.

    Unhloy against non undead.

I actually though of this a while a go, but I'm too lazy to link it.

Sometimes the Black is harder than the Red. Probably best to go with the hardest area from each map. Something like this...

SoF2: Battle for the Molten Depths
    FK: ?
IS2: Creepy Creeper Castle (but prettier and with more spawners :3)
    KC: Citadel of Demons
    CC2: ?
    BD2: ?
Legendary: The Face of Evil (just the red wool area, cut out the crap after that)
    NR: Balestein Castle
SI: Netherstorm Citadel (again, prettier and with more spawners :3)
SC: Black Heart Citadel (use the top fleecybox, instead of stairs leading to the red wool place, have a room with some OP loot)
Lethamyr: the mountain place with the black wool caves
    IM: ?
    13: ?
WU: Inventory Wipe Horror Festival (nether section only)
    15: ?
    16: ?

Also bear in mind it would require giving every resource in the game right from the start...

    You made a mistake

    IS2: The Red Mist Beckons

Honestly, the creeper castle is so easy. The red most beckons killed me 4 times.

I believe there are two sets of momentum tags which need to match in order for it to move properly.

Then apply those 2 tags to the ghast ball.

Keep in mind, these would spawn very rarely . They would maybe spawn once or twice per map.

If that isn't possible, it could be used for thematic effect ( a meteor lands on the side of a mountain, wich will open up a cave with a meteor (made out of actual stone) inside).

Fun box is a group of spawners, fleecy box is the big wool room.

You would need to put the spawners themselves in the air, otherwise, they would all spawn in one specific location

    Why is that?

    'Kay.

So, will no have acces to larger ghast fire charges, along with giving them bigger explosions.

I'm suprised nobody thought of this, but I figured out how to make meteor spawners.

In vechs most recent video, vechs showcased his wide area spawners. These would operate on the same principle.

You program a wide area spawner to spawn a large ghast fire ball high in the air. The fire ball will naturally be a lot larger and will explode more than in vanilla minecraft. If possible, have it programmed to fall to the ground on a slant. If not, just have an arrow spawn directly above the meteor, so when the arrow hits it, it will fall straight down.

To make the meteor shower more realistic, you could have a bunch of normal spawners scattered throughout the map that spawn normal ghast balls and have them rain from the sky every soften.

To use these effectively, you must make "Lethamyer H", with hardcore enabled. Trying to survive on a island with everything given to you, but with the threat of going up in flames always there would be interesting.

If not used for Lethamyer, it can be used in any open sky map.

You know what would be funny?
Watching a speed runner get poked to death by a cactus in black desert 2 would be funny.

I forgot to post this yesterday.

Black Desert 1.1 Expedition Report, Day 1
First off, wow! This was a massive change from things like Spellbound and Kaizo, Vechs' tactics have changed massively over the years.
So, I started up BD, took in the sights, took all the supplies, and then set off the cake trap like Geechan said to, I will get back to that in a minute....
After marvelling at the castle that most likely contained the red wool, I decided to take a closer look, and found the pink wool....
After that, gathering up some supplies (iron armour, pick, compass, bed, daimond shovels, iron sword.) I went to explre some more, and found an opening near the middle of the massive underground, and on my way, I found the green wool. I went into the passage, as Geechan said, the VM was near he side of the pit, so I assumed it would be here, only to be confronted with the end of a dungeon.
I'd went through the exit of the magenta wool by mistake.
Feeling cheated out of an experience, I decided to fight my way up through the dungeon anyway, and I proved I am no longer a n00b! (I. Hate. Spiders.) At this point, I was overloaded with stuff, and the VM was nowhere in sight, after going back to the underground, and pausing the game, I hopped onto #CTM to ask Geechan to define "side of the pit"........
At this point I learnt I am both blind, and Vechs really wanted people to suffer in BD. The VM was literally in the side of the pit, in the wall. I staircased up to the VM, and up to above ground, providing me with access to both areas, and set up camp at the VM, earning myself the yellow wool, and some iron.
As I was all set to get some Iron, I forgot about my lack of a furnace, at which point I remembered.......
    No crafting table.
My search for a tree began, at the same time, I had initiated use of the Advanced Lighting Technique to keep my self safe from future spawns. After much fighting, surviving, and eating, I found two trees, in close proximity, one was a small oak tree, with only a few monsters, the other, was a big oak, with no monsters, but two things out of the ordinary...
    1. There was a chest, on a platform, my thoughts turned to wool, immediately.
    2. There was smooth stone in the ground, beside the tree. Wising up to Vechs' Beta tactics I knew it was a funbox.
So, being me, I couldn't take the challenge head on, so what did I do? I built a 17 block high bridge above the funbox, and dove down, disabling the box before it could react. White wool and saplings get.
After I found the light blue wool, but I finally fell to my arrogance, and died.
    Obligatory progress screenshot!

Are you aware that black desert 2 will be coming out in a month (hopefully).

I'm just going to post the permission letter here because I can't find any place to pm Vechs besides twitter(messages to short).

    Dear Vechs,

I am posting this because I have an idea for Super Hostile that the users on the forums here seemed to like. It is called Super Hostile's Finest. It is basically a mash-up of the fan favorite areas in your maps. I will take a vote for what each area should be for each wool. I am asking permission for the use of the areas that are chosen from your maps. All credit will be given to you and I will not distribute the map for profit, or you could distribute the map if you like it. The map will basically give you an idea of what the community likes to see and it could help you improve on the areas that didn't make it into the map. The map will be 4-5 intersections and will use original Intersection designs. I understand if you don't want us to use the areas that you made, but please take this into consideration. Thank you for your time.

I would like that a lot. If vetches gives the OK, do it.

Is it okay if, while making my own map, I copy custom spawners from Vechs' maps for use in mine?

    I'm fairly sure that's allowed.

Vechs, the reason the zombies you showcased in the wide area spawners didn't burn because they were wearing helmets (meaning anything in their head armor slot).

Just wanted to let you know.

So Vetches said in his newest Dev Com episode that Black Desert II IS his experimental map. :D

Good. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
The best thing is that Amlupian armor might not be useless, their is a lot of lava after all.

Well, assuming Vechs doesn't mind (which I don't see why he would) I'd like to actually make this into a proper game. I know bits and bobs of coding, and I'm sure there are willing people on the MC Forums that can help me with what I can't do myself. It would obviously take a long time to finish, but I think if we get a group of people willing to put a little time into it each week, we could have ourselves a game in like a year or less. :D

My knowledge of coding is limited bits and bobs too. We make a great team :P.

Also, will the game be mac compatable? I hate it when video games aren't Mac compatable.

SLIGHTLY LATE TO THE PARTY YEAHHHH!

    Thadiwyn Character Sheet:

    Strength: 6
    Speed: 7
    Acrobatics: 5
    Skill: 1
    Luck: 9
    Tunnelling: 2

    Special Ability: TORCH RUN!
Gains invulnerability, Speed I and infinite torches for 30 seconds. After this time Thadiwyn is left with 1HP. 30 minute cooldown

    Secondary Special Ability: Hyup!

Provided the player openly exclaims 'HYUP!' upon jumping. They are 10% more likely NOT to fail said jump.

    Passive Ability: Mapmaker.

Thadiwyn has the ability to notice and utilise how a mapmaker would think. Often ignored in practice.

    Weakness: Sidetracked.
Thadiwyn cannot actively pursue one objective (while commentating) for more than 30 minutes, after this time he will begin rambling about something completely non-related and then forget what he was doing.

    That seems about right.

I saw it. I might add that achievement you suggested. Keep in mind though, if this becomes a proper game (which i now REALLY want it to) it will work differently than normal Minecraft. Lava buckets will probably be a powerup or something.

Ok, fine. But their definitely needs to be a way to kill mobs with lava.
