posted a message on 40 freezes in 2 hours - Creative mode
I'm trying to build, while 50,000 animals are spawning in. Either I kill 500 a minute, or I freeze. I finally got the idea to flood the area with lava, but damn it, I shouldn't need to. I built a ton of stuff on this server, but most the map is empty... I just froze again while typing this.

Edit: I've noticed if I leave that area, I no longer freeze. I'm going to place a bet that the lag is between the animals, and my attempt to build 1/8 a rollercoaster. I'm using a ton of powered rails and wood fence. It wasn't a freezing issue until the animals started pouring in though.

I added you but I don't think you accepted it.
As for my capture the flag arena, I just need to finish up a few floors,
so I should be hosting matches of 4 vs 4 by next week.

After only about a month (but 50 hours total)
I am proud to show off the Techtra Realm

Now it's only 10% completed, but for what I have now, it's worth a look, and if you're about 18 or over, I could use help building more mini games.

Those who help significantly will earn up to 5 custom stores in the mall,
a custom modern house in the urban city, a giant statue of their PC skin,
and possibly more if we can actually host our own servers.

    - ON TO THE MINI GAMES -

Well actually here's a few pics of the mall and the street of Modern houses.

    Okay now the mini games

    -_DUNGEON ESCAPE_-
Dungeon Escape is a chunk of games I created where you choose a mini game in
the Nether Dungeon, and race to see who can escape into one of the Nether Cubes first.

I have half of a Nether Dungeon themed Cops n Robbers map

A huge mob spawning survival maze parkour jump map race

    A tower of purely parkour

I have a mental logic game in the works, possibly a mine cart game, and ideas in my head.

As for the overworld mini games, I'm currently building a sweet

    Capture the flag arena
    Super Spleef
    Sandfall TNT run / Melee
    An idea for dodgeball
    Another Parkour Jump Map
    A Race to the Finish
    Ender Pearl parkour
And you can't forget Sky Block

I'm also still working on a "The Walls" type mini game on a separate map,
the reason being that everything else was made in superflat world.

    SO ANYWAY>>>>>>>>>>>
If you want to come check it out, put your PSN name below.
If I'm online, I'll send you an invite. If you're not online, well, maybe add me if you're mature and stuff like so. I don't mean librarian mature, I mean about 18+.

posted a message on -PS3 Map extractor
I have taken the time to build a massive Realm from scratch, completely full of things to explore, mini games, parkour, as well as secrets and such. Now I am hoping for the ability to host my server publicly, even without the ability to reset the mini games, but just for the fun of showing it off. Otherwise, I am curious if I could request a converter to extract the map data from the PS3 game save, and put the same server map on PC. I have seen crazier things done (like copying the chunk of your map into a 3D object), but because PS3 is only a smaller port of PC, it should be possible to insert the map into a larger map, kind of like an editor tool.
This is merely a suggestion for PS3, and possibly PS4 and XBOX as well, seeing as copying your save data to a memory USB does not break the Terms of Service, since you are not modding the actual save data.
Input would be nice, especially if you feel you could achieve this challenge. 4J and Mojang have a lot on their plate already, but the forum is labeled "suggestions".
Thanks for reading, I hope for positive replies.

posted a message on Successful Elevator?
I've built 5 elevators that work on PC and Xbox, but not Ps3.
Sticky pistons seem to leave stuff behind if they retract to quickly.
Redstone gets desynchronized all the time too.
Mainly because of these bugs, you really can't build an elevator as far as I tried.
    Was hoping someone else has.

I've tried building multiple types of elevators, and the biggest issues are redstone bugs, and the sticky pistons not pulling back. Has anyone Actually built a working elevator in MCPS3?

I never attempted this until Minecraft PS3, so tbh, idk if its actually possible
I would rather not make a spiral staircase.
    Ideas? Thanks in advance.

posted a message on Help me build a minigame? (Cops n Robbers type map)
I don't use skype, I'm sorry. We can use text chat still. I need a lot of help if I will ever get my server done before Realms comes out.
Btw, does anyone know how to take screenshots? I have a pretty great start to my map where most of my mini games will be hosted.

posted a message on Best touchscreen laptop for Minecraft?

I'm just going to give it to you straight. There's absolutely no way you're going to get a touchscreen laptop that can record well for $600. If you're willing to just drop the idea of recording altogether, this will play Minecraft decently on medium settings:
    http://www.amazon.co...chscreen laptop

Well I have spent a few days looking at a few suggestions, and I can't really complain about this one.

    What I need
    CPU : Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 (K8) 2.6 GHz
    RAM : 4GB
GPU : GeForce 6xxx or ATI Radeon 9xxx and up with OpenGL 2.1 Support (Excluding Integrated Chipsets)
    HDD : 150MB

    What it has
    Processor 2.6 GHz Core i5 3230M RAM
6 GB DDR3 Memory Speed 1600 MHz Hard Drive 1000 GB SATA Graphics Coprocessor Intel HD 4000 Graphics Average Battery Life (in hours) 5 hours
    • 10-point multi-touch technology
    • Dolby Advanced Audio for crisp, clear surround sound
    • Integrated 720p HD webcam, HDMI out and USB 3.0 port
Also there's used and refurbished ones for up to $200 less.

I might just get it. Anyone think I shouldn't?

Killzone Skin! Killzone is exclusive only to Sony
^That is true. I could go for a Capture Trooper outfit. My main concern is that there is no CUSTOM SKINS. We have a "Favorite Skins" tab with no way to favorite.I can see that after 10-20 skin packs get released, they will sell the option to upload a skin from your photos, for use to your account name only, for like $5 each. In retrospect, that's not a bad deal."Oh you want a custom skin? $5. You can also buy the special offer for uploading up to 10 custom skins for $25."

They would make $25 off of me in a second.

posted a message on Do you think we have the technology to make actual light-sabers?
    Quote from Frog81

    Lightsabers are plasma, not lasers.

Well unless they can create a "force generator" to keep the molten plasma in its shape,
I think lasers are the biggest likely simulation of a real life lightsaber.
