Sep 9, 2012Methris posted a message on (Snapshot 12w38b) PioneerCraft Small Whitelisted Community! (100% Vanilla)I would have to agree with Mootard on this although I may be accepted or rejected it is all about the age of the community that makes it worth playing this game. We all get bored playing single player and for that reason we are here trying to find a good server in which we can play the game and get along with others, who bring different aspects to the game and server. I am/was part of a server that never got off the ground and I can say that it is because there is a lack of interest among the members and I believe that it has to do with the age group.Posted in: PC Servers

A little bit about yourself:College student going to school for a degree in Cyber Security, enjoy playing minecraft when I get free time.
Why you'd like to join my server:Looking for a good server to become a part of, love the idea that you want to turn it into a hermitcraft/mindcrack server as thats what really got me interested in minecraft.
What makes you different from other applicants?I enjoy just kicking back and relaxing not sure you could say I am any different than others, really I would say I'm just another average person looking for a good server. Also I am handy with redstone.
Where are you from?Texas
Do you agree to the rules?Yes A123
Have you ever been banned?Nope
How long have you played?Only about 5 months started on Xbox got bored so I switched over to the PC because it contained more features.

Have you played on any servers in the past?
Will you play on this server often?
When did you start playing Minecraft (approx. version)
>I actually started on the xbox version but just recently moved to playing the pc as well
What are you planning on doing on the server? (if anything specific, else N/A)
>Mainly just like having people to play with help with builds, mine materials
Have you done anything impressive that you'd like to display? (pictures, video, etc)
What time zone are you in? (find out here: http://www.timezonec...in/findzone.tzc )
Are you more of a BUILDER, REDSTONER, FIGHTER, or all?
>Redstoner, and builder
What do you think you have to offer to UltimateSMP?
>I'm just a new guy who is looking for a good server
Anything else that should be noted? (literally, anything)
>Nope Im 26 so not a fan of immature people.
Aug 12, 2012Ya so I am just now starting to play minecraft on the pc, I have been playing on the xbox as well but would like to play on both. I am looking for a server to join that is fun and a similiar setup to that of either hermit craft or the mindcrack server.Posted in: Server Recruitment
Aug 11, 2012Yes the game can get boring here and there and yes its easy to quickly say I'm making the move to pc, but something everyone fails to take into account is that your trying to compare a dollar to a 1000 bucks.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
The xbox version is yes a lite version at the moment as 4j is working hard to convert the coding from java to C++ and that takes time so yes we are limited on what we can do right now. Second the map size is small but I can see them easily making it bigger if not infinate with the 1.2. update we just have to be patient. The Pc version is going to be bigger and better for atleast 6 months to a year till 4j can officially get us all the way caught up and then start working on what they want to add into the game.
Aug 9, 2012I think we will see it roughly about the same time frame we got the 1.7.3 which would be around the 10-15th of september just depends on how quick they can get the coding done and get it into certification testing.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
Aug 7, 2012Yes I would wait I mean its basically like watching the finished product(although its not finished) and buying the kit to make the finished product. We should hopefully see an update roughly every 2 months till we get caught up to the pc version and each update we will get the new features or craftable materials for that version.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion

So I just purchased the xbox game fair and square for $20, and I am enjoying it but I've watched things online and seen that there is more content on the PC version. I think that it looks to be better, but it costs $30 dollars. Do you guys think I should wait for a possible update that might happen in September that might include creative and survival? Also what is Adventure mode? Does the money go to the same place, because if it does, maybe I could exchange it and spend $10 dollars more for the online version? thanks guys very much appreciated.
Well its hard to really compare the two versions at the time as you are playing the beta version 1.7.3 on the xbox versus the official 1.3.1 on the pc. Now as far as the 1.8.2 update goes that will include the creative mode as well as give us some newer things to work with but we will still be behind version wise.
Now as for where the money goes no it is going to two seperate places so you can't exchange it.
Now which you prefer is up to you and how you like to be able to control the actions of the game, some people dislike the controls that are used on the pc and therefore will tell you that they prefer the xbox version, others will be the other way. Me I have both the xbox and the pc and I honestly haven't touched the pc version but a few times since buying it mainly do to the resources required to run it on a pc and the fact that everyone I play with has it on xbox.
Hope this helps.
Aug 7, 2012I'm not really worried about if they will or will not I have a feeling they will, I mainly am just looking at starting a world fresh and building a new design I have in my head but just need atleast a few trees around so I can get started.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
Aug 7, 2012Okay so I understand there is a seed thread and have read through a lot of it, but what I am looking for is a map that has a good spawn point that I can work within the first little circle you get on the map. Reason behind this is I am looking for a single player world to have for when I am not on the map I usually play on, also I want a fresh start on a map I haven't explored so when the update comes out I dont have to restart and rebuild if they dont expand the map size.Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
So what I am asking is for seed ideas from those of you who have your worlds now and remeber the intial spawn point.

Is there melon seeds in the Xbox version?
No not at this time however there should be melon seeds in abandoned mineshafts which will be part of the next version update, which hopefully will be out end of this month beginning of next. That is a guess not confirmed on the release date.

Full list of hostile mobs?
I've seen zombie, skeleton, spider, creeper, zombie pigman, ghast, and I believe slimes must exist since there are now sticky pistons.
Thats all the mobs at this however along with the next version update we do get 3 new mobs which are endermen, silverfish, and magma slime.
