I disagree. The (updated) endings are each debatable and made of different shades of grey. There's not one that makes absolute sense above the others.
Probably because none of them make sense to begin with.
I'm a little curious whether or not they'll continue further into the future or be forced to either stick with Mass Effect's history or to a time frame analogous to the Mass Effect series. Bioware has already stated that they don't want to make any one ending canon, but then again, they also said a lot of things... I suppose time (and EA) will tell.
Did any of you play the previous Assassin's Creed title? If you did, I'm curious, are you still interested in the next one?
I found myself so disappointed and disgusted that I can't even bring myself to look at any of the ACIV stuff. Am I just a cynical old gamer or something?
Mass Effect 3 was the swan song for Commander Shepard, and still a hotly debated one.
EA has a franchise, though, and there's still money to be made, so rest assured in the knowledge that there is a universe full of mud left to run it through before its lifeless husk is thrown by the wayside. There will be more Mass Effect games as long as they can make money, and because it's EA, there will be more online multiplayer than you can shake an omni-tool at.
I'm a fan of Canadian whiskey, Absinthe, Root Tea, Sake, Limoncello, and eggnog.
I used to drink lots of wines, but I became intolerant to sulfates a few years back. My favorites included Italian (Umbria) whites, Japanese plum wines, and German (Rhine) wines.
It's like having no skin. everything that touches me burns. That's how my feelings are now...
This stood out to me in your post. To me, it seems, this is a good sign. The final oblivion of depression takes away all feeling. There is no more joy or pain. Only numbness.
Some people, out of desperation, cling to the pain. They do things they know will hurt themselves and others. Some cut themselves or otherwise physically harm themselves to feel pain just so that they are feeling something. But pain is easy. It's not what anyone wants. Not really.
There's a lot of pretty good advice in this thread. I just wanted to pop in and point out that there's still hope. You're feeling the pain of being alive. That's good! Life is painful. You haven't lost your connection with that. That means you haven't lost your connection to happiness either, and if you look for it long enough, you'll surely be able to feel it.
Think of it like Pandora's box. All that darkness is streaming out of that open lid, but there is yet one more thing left inside... hope. The story of Pandora's box is the story of what you are going through, and it is something that you share with millions of others across thousands of years of human history. You are not alone and you are not without hope.
There's a few Italian dishes (real Italian, not the kind available here in America) that I love. North Italian, the stuff that uses olive oil instead of butter as the primary base for flavor. It's so good and surprisingly healthy for being so oily.
That and a vegetarian Indian restaurant near me introduced me to the world of authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine. I'm addicted. It's amazing to have a dish with so much flavor and walk out feeling energized and not weighed down.
A couple great new titles for you guys to check out:
Path Of Exile
Following in the spirit of Diablo II, this game makes a better Diablo III than Diablo III. Plus, it's free to play. Expect hardcore dark and gritty unforgiving gameplay. Don't expect the game or the community to show you any sympathy. This is a mature game.
The Banner Saga
Online competitive turn based strategy game. Yes, they do exist! Beautiful art, a wonderful soundtrack, and an engaging Viking setting make for a beautiful aesthetic backdrop to this simple to learn hard to master strategy game.
My recommendation to you guys is to look up Pathfinder, as you'll already be online, and all the resources are freely available from the publishers. Just do a simple Google search.
It's essentially D&D 3.5, so if anyone in your group is familiar with that, then you'll be set. If not, again, all the info is online and perfectly legal.
Root. It's a liquor based on root tea, the precursor to root beer (which, ironically, was a nonalcoholic version of root tea).
I just discovered it and I'm in love. It's better than root beer by far (not so sweet and not carbonated), but since it's 80 proof, it's something to sip on only in small amounts and only in the evenings (really, soda should only be consumed in small amounts as well). Plus, it's organic! I'm really excited about this discovery.

It's really a toss up between those two.
