    Well it is kind of an update of LambdaCraft in the sense that it uses the textures and models from LambdaCraft. Otherwise I wrote everything from scratch and it can be considered a whole other mod.

    My idea is to specify all 47 connected textures for each variant in the block's blockstate, pass these to the baked model and let it apply them to each quad based on the extended state.

    Here's my loader

    Next up I've been told I need to remap all the textures in IModel#retexture and then apply them to the IBakedModel. I have no idea how to do that. Please help. Thanks

    • Completely rewrote the mod from scratch
    • Locks can now be placed on any amount and kind of blocks
    • Added lock, key blank and key ring
    • Added a dynamic lock model/renderer
    • Added a simple CUI, indicating where a lock will be placed
    • Added a comprehensive configuration, which can be changed in-game
    • Added lock generation
    • Overhauled the lock picking GUI, making it smoother, easier and less cluttered
    • Added more sounds
    • Added recipes
    • Shrunk packets, improving network usage

    Just modify rotateAngleZ of shape17 however you want and it should work.



    Ok well tbh I didn't even try in the first place. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll make sure to do that in the next update.

    I noticed that too, but I couldn't get any different parts to rotate correctly.

    Project Lambda is an ambitious project aiming to re-create the classic shooter masterpiece, Half-Life, often debated to be the best game of all time that revolutionized its genre, in Minecraft. It is a complete rewrite and overhaul of LambdaCraft, permission for which was kindly granted by its owner KSkun.


    Warning: Project Lambda is still in beta so expect a few issues, hopefully no game breaking bugs though. I am looking for testers so I urge everyone to report any found bugs on my github issue tracker.

    Solved. To make a wearable item it is required to override Item#isValidArmor and Item#getEquipmentSlot. The damage can be handled either by events or ISpecialArmor.

    I'm trying to make a custom armor that works a little differently to normal armor. First off I tried creating a custom armor class by just copying some methods and fields I thought were important from ItemArmor. Namely dispenseStack, getEquipmentSlot, onItemRightClick, getItemAttributeModifiers and some other small ones. However I can't even put the armor on in game.


    1. So I'd like to know what methods do I need to override to make wearable armor.
    2. I'm trying to create armor that works only when charged. So how do I stop the armor from reducing damage when it's out of charge (capability). I thought about removing the modifiers, but I'm not sure if that would work or if that would be a good way. I'm guessing the best way would be through an event?

    That's because potions are hardcoded versions below 1.7. Don't extend ItemPotion, just adapt some of its methods.
