I agree. I've never played on a RP server. But if there were a Firefly one, I just might consider it!

Yes. I'm not super techy but I think you need both? I believe they do different things altogether. But I'm mostly pulling this info out of thin air. I know we run both. Essentials gives a lot of permissions but Pex seems to control who you give the permissions to??? Like Pex lets you make different groups, like an admin group and a member group and give them both a different set of Essential perms. Something like that.

I thought Essentials was like Permissions, groups, anti cheat, etc everything all in one.. I should read them before installing. Youre pretty much right. Essentials is basically a buttload of extra commands and PEX allows you to create groups and determine who can use which commands and which commands they cant use.. something like that.. - To post a comment, please login.

My server is somewhere between normal and hard. (Zombies don't break doors, cave spiders do poison, skeles shoot faster.) Come check us out. The staff are all 17-28 years old. So we have a nice mature community.
We are non pvp. But plan on adding in some pvp arenas for players. We are also no grief or theft. We are semi vanilla - The only non aspect vanilla is our land protection system, and a economy.
