I was actually thinking for the test to make it part of the standard world, but as you can read it's got some problems that might mess around with players hence a portal, but if you think it's not a good idea, i'll change it to a biome idea. :sad.gif:

    New Creatures

Sea Creeper: A bluish varient of it's cousin, however it does not explode. It looks like a creeper swimming on it's belly, has it's head pointed froward and uses it's 4 legs to swim. It raps itself around the intended victim and tries to crush it. Wearing armour and helmets above iron tier prevents the damage, but at a cost of ten times the duability lost to the armour. The Sea Creeper can be detached by hitting it's head. It has 12 hearts. It can only move underwater. Drops 0-4 Blue Seeds upon death.

Clam: Found sitting on the floor. They drop a Pearl when hit with a remote chance at a Black Pearl. They have 30 Hearts.

    New Items

Blue Sea Bread: Crafted from Blue Seaweed Crop. Heals 6 Hearts.

Blue Seaweed Crop: Harvested from Blue Seaweed. Crafted into Blue Sea Bread.

Blue Seeds: Planted in Dirt. Grows Blue Seaweed.

Coral Shard: Planted in Dirt. Grows into Coral. Can be Crafted into Coral Blocks.

Pearl and black Pearl: Found in Clams. Haven't thought of a use for them.

Seaweed Bread: Crafted from Seaweed Crop. Heals 2 Hearts.

Seaweed Crop: Harvested from Seaweed. Used to craft Seaweed Bread.

Wet Seeds: Planted in Dirt. Grows Seaweed. Obtained from harvesting seaweed.

    New Plants

Blue Seaweed: Grown from Blue Seeds. Grows underwater. After the plant is finished growing it will spawn a Sea Creeper every 2 minutes until it is harvested. When harvested drops 1 Blue Seaweed Crop.

Coral: Grown from a Coral Shard. Grows underwater. When harvested drops 1-3 Coral Shards.

Seaweed: Grown from Wet Seeds. Grows underwater. When harvest drops 1 Seaweed Crop and 1-4 Wet Seeds.

I've changed the idea to match what people have been telling me.

If you wish to see the other stuff, well tough.

I'm starting work on making it, but I don't know much about modding minecraft so it'll be touch and go.

If anyone can send me links on how to mod blocks and items it would be appreciated.

    AQUASIA

    INTRODUCTION
    What is it all about?
I was playing minecraft trying to build an underwater city, and it got me thinking. What if there was an alternate realm, like the nether, but completely underwater. With water based items, equipment, creatures, plants, even underwater caves. I call it Aquasia

    HOW
To reach it, you would have to make and portal out of lapiz lazuli blocks, and activate it by putting a water source block in it.
Before you enter the portal you will need a diver's helmet which can be made like a standard iron helm but with an extra iron ingot below, a glass piece in the middle, and two pieces of lapiz lazuli in the bottom corners. Additional note about the Diver's Helm. If it is under 75% health it will leak, taking away air at a slowed rate. Further damage will cause the rate of loss of air to increase.

    THE BLOCKS

    THE BLOCKS
    Natural

Aqua Dirt: Similar to normal dirt and is required to build coral and all other underwater plants, simple dirt will not suffice. Can be dug with any tool. Water spawned from this block will travels 6 spaces

SeaStone: Softer than standard stone due to the water content. Must be dug with at least a wood pickaxe. Water spawned from this block travels 4 spaces.

Lapiz Lazuli Ore: A common block in Aquasia. No difference from main block except rarity.

Aquaon Ore: An uncommon ore block holding Aquaon. Has to be smelted to produce Aquaon, but requires 4 times the smelting time of standard items. Water spawned from this block travel 3 spaces.

Aquaralis Crystal: A shining crystal grows towards the surface of the ocean. When mined drops 3-4 Aquaralis Shards. Requires at least an iron pickaxe to mine. This block does not generate water.

Hydreon: A extremely dense strange stone. Requires at least a diamond pickaxe to mine. Water spawned from this block travels 16 spaces.

DrossRock: An extremely dangerous stone, mining it is not recommended. When within 3 spaces of it all items with durablity rapidly decay, even in the inventory! Requires at least a iron pickaxe to mine. This block does not generate water.

    Man Made

Aquaon Block: Crafted from 9 Aquaon ingots. Requires at least a iron pickaxe to mine. Water spawned from this block travels 8 spaces.

Coral Block: Crafted from 9 Coral Shards. Requires at least a iron pickaxe to mine. Water spawned from this block travels 3 spaces.

Heavy DrossRock: Crafted from 8 pieces of Hydreon around DrossRock. Items with durability within a 10 block radius rapidly decay. Walking on this block causes 1/2 a heart of damage per sec. Requires at least a diamond pickaxe to mine. This block does not generate water.

    MOBS

    Squid: Same as normal squid.

Clam: Found sitting on the floor. They drop a Pearl when hit with a remote chance at a Black Pearl. They have 30 Hearts.

    ITEMS

Aquaon Ingot: Used to craft Aquaon Tools.

Aquaon Tools and armour: They have the same durability and mining rate as iron tools and armour. They lose no durability while underwater and are immune to DrossRock.

Aquaralis Growth: Crafted from 5 peices of Aquaralis Shards in an x shape. Planted in Aqua mud it turns into Aquaralis Crystal after time. It requires at least a 3 by 3 by 3 space to grow filled with water.

Aquaralis Shard: Used in the crafting of Lanterns or Aquaralis Growth. Dropped from Aquaralis Crystal.

Blue Sea Bread: Crafted from Blue Seaweed Crop. Heals 6 Hearts.

Blue Seaweed Crop: Harvested from Blue Seaweed. Crafted into Blue Sea Bread.

Blue Seeds: Planted in Aqua Dirt. Grows Blue Seaweed.

Coral Shard: Planted in Aqua Dirt. Grows into Coral. Can be Crafted into Coral Blocks.

Lantern: Crafted from one Aquaralis Crystal in the middle and an iron ingot above and below. Can be placed underwater and provides more illumination then torches.

Wet Seeds: Planted in Aqua Dirt. Grows Seaweed. Obtained from harvesting seaweed.

    PLANTS

Blue Seaweed: Grown from Blue Seeds. Grows in Aqua Dirt. After the plant is finished growing it will spawn a Sea Creeper every 2 minutes until it is harvested. When harvested drops 1 Blue Seaweed Crop.

Coral: Grown from a Coral Shard. Grows in Aqua Dirt. When harvested drops 1-3 Coral Shards.

Seaweed: Grown from Wet Seeds. Grows in Aqua Dirt. When harvest drops 1 Seaweed Crop and 1-4 Wet Seeds.

    FIN

That's all I got so far. If you have ideas, post them. I will make more ideas and create skins, but if someone could help me with the skins that would be kind. P.s. I don't know how to make a sig link so if someone could make one, it would be appreciated.

Thank's to NinjaQ for helping me with the presentation tah mate :Diamond: .
