all games die out eventually it doesnt matter if they keep updating it or not thats just how it works there is and never will be a game that wont die out eventually personaly i think its going to die out in about mabe 2-5 years it just depends i guess
Yeah because it is really the only good sandbox out there and it has everything one needs.
Don't forget, I honestly think that if you put minecraft on a big table, where it is now is only at the beginning.. I mean (I'm not comparing) but Call of duty took 8 - 9 years before they had a big event (Call of duty XP) Minecraft took only 2 years, and it was still in beta.
This game has only just begun, trust me.
Well minecraft 2 would have to run on a more advanced engine. Java kind of sucks... Mojang needs there own.
Yeah thanks for that, that is pretty much what I meant.. you can't keep on adding updates on java forever.. soon you won't be able to put the things you want on there.
Is it possible that a minecraft 2 will ever be released?, maybe in a few years when minecraft has died down, and it has been updated to full capacity, is it possible that a bigger better minecraft could appear?
Your thoughts?
Well, the grass was ALOT brighter in beta/alpha and cobble was different as well, the tree leaves were brighter, the stone was different, and all of it fit well with how the world would generate! :smile.gif:
What textures did you like more?, I don't care whether some of you use a texture pack, this is mainly just a case of what default textures you liked the best :smile.gif:
I personally prefer the older textures, there was just something about it that went with the landscapes. What do you guys/girls think?
