    Hey all I'm back, lost my pack progress that I had on my hard drive, I did have an online backup. However, its not as fully progressed as the one I had on my computer.

    Fooling around with some mob textures. (really loved how wayuki made the villager hands in her pack, so I did something similar.)

    @XxDarkMiragex, usually snow is very low contrast. Dont see the reason for it being highly contrasted even with the palette you are using. I would use only the three brightest colors out of those blues.

    Oh well thank you :) but haha, really I cant describe my technique. Just kinda adapt to it over the years is my guess. I don't know how long you've been making packs for, but it takes practice to get some technique and style to work for you. Just keep practicing c:



    Also added a new version of the pack for you guys to play around with and find any current flaws or general complaints about what should be changed.

    You won't need to edit blockstates, just a model, in models/block. What I usually do is find a block that's in the same 'format' as the one I'm trying to make. You're trying to make a column (a block with a side texture and a top/bottom texture) so you'll find another column, like oak_log.json, copy the text over to diamond_block.json, and replace the texture names. Here's what it'll look like:

    I need some help, I have no idea how to code the blockstates and I want to get the diamond_block_side to show across all sides of the diamond block except for bottom and top. Does anyone know how to do this because I am completely lost ._.

    Livestreaming:



    All doors are finished, but I am going to go back and add some more details to them to make them less bland. Changed jungle logs, new dark oak leaves, changed spruce logs a bit, new acacia planks, and edited birch planks to fit the pack. Also new gold axe (might change), new stone pickaxe, new apple and golden apple. I also updated the carrots, but ill post them later. Can't currently.

    Its fine lol, I want to get used to the process and learning what I can do with it.

    Small update: Added Random CTM to dirt, I was able to get rid of the tile error at some point, but then I added several other dirt textures, going to have to play around with the weights of it (working on adding some random ctm to the cobblestone), changed tallgrass color and new double tallgrass

    Thanks and yeah, I'm going to try to fix that. Working on getting rid of the rotated textures in the JSON files. So annoying to do for me because i've never done it ._.

    Thanks! Ye, I'm working on adding CTM and I'll fix that tiling error, it was in there a couple updates ago, but that was before they added JSON files.

    @fishy, looks really nice I like it.


    @Teknician, its actually a 32x32 pack. Also a strange way to highlight the cobblestone, I just never really seen that done before, but I like it in a strange way. I feel like the texture would benefit from a lightsource somewhere.
