I replied to your message that you sent me- I don't have that much spare time, but I should be able to handle a pack.
I'd prefer 16x16, but I can work with 32x32 if you need me to.
Also, I read in one of your posts that there will be expenses such as hosting a server and a website.
Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I will be unable to contribute to those costs.
However, I do have a MediaFire account with 56GB of free storage (I made an account while it was in beta, free accounts now only get 10GB, but I hopped on the train early and they let me keep my space).
I will never use all of that space by myself, so I can easily host any necessary downloads from there.
If direct download links are required, I've found a little 'hack' per say in MediaFire that allows me to get direct links.
If Apple gets their act in gear, and gets proper drivers signed -- hopefully we'll see it soon.
A few of us may have found a way to get OpenGL 3.2+ support, but the way MC is coded ... it wouldn't work properly even if you did that.
So, it comes back to the shaderpack developers to have backwards compatible support.
A great shaderpack to try in the interim is Sildur's Vibrant, Chocapic's WIP, or even Sasukedll7170's (branched from Chocapic with some important fixes & additions). No offense to Mr.Meep or others, but I haven't tried any of their shaderpacks to have any input (most are custom forms of either SEUS / Sildur / Chocapic).
Sweet, thanks for the response.
I'll make a note to try out those shaders.
It's disappointing to hear that SEUS no longer supports OS X.
However, I DID run shaders before (I think it was Minecraft version 1.3 or something, and Mac OS 10.7 (Lion)) and they ran fine.
Does anyone know if shaders will ever work with OS X in the future?
First off, this is a great mod and I enjoyed using it a lot.
However, with the new 1.6.2 update, the shaders don't work at all.
When I attempt to enable Sonic Ether's shaders, I get errors and a small 'window' of minecraft within it's window.
The GUI, however, remains full size.
Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running OS X Mavericks (10.9), and I know Apple broke a ton of stuff with that update.
Although, hey, it was free.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else is having these problems (on Mac, Windows, or Linux) so we can figure out what's causing them.
Thanks in advance!
-Mc
PS: I'm running a Quad-Core i7 and have a Nvidia GT 650M with 1GB of vRAM (my profile pic is my system). It surprises me that I'm able to run Borderlands 2 on maximum settings and get at least 25-40fps, when with shaders I used to get lucky with 15.
Content packs aren't working for me whatsoever. I have COMPLETELY reinstalled minecraft, and followed the installations step-by-step over 3 times; no dice. The core mod installs and works fine; but the game acts as if there are no content packs installed at all. The content packs I tried were by Flan; and even Simple Parts doesn't work. PLEASE HELP!

Why should You Be Staff?: I run my own private server for my friends and family, and have dealt with numerous problems on it. I know a good deal about server management, and I try to be friendly to all and have very few or no enemies. In case my age is affecting your decision, I have the maturity level of at least a 13 year-old and very very VERY rarely complain or whine about anything.
Have You Been Staff Before?: I was a sort of Pre-Moderator rank on Aquona before it stopped running, and I am Owner of my own server.

Hey Skarb. I think your rig is exactly what I was looking for! Although, I do have one question, is it possible to change the skin of the Charig? Some of my minecraft friends want me to make animations of their character doing something. So i was just wondering if it is possible to change the skin. If it helps Im on a mac
Hey. I was playing minecraft 12w21b (snapshot) when i came across a Extreme Hills biome. I thought I would make an emerald mine. While i was mining with my stone pickaxe, the cobblestone dropped dirt when i wrecked it! I know it wasnt a texture because the pickaxe mined it with the same speed and breaking noise. I started this topic as a place to say bugs that we have found in minecraft. I will be updating this for each new version that comes out and would like to hear some things you have to say about bugs or future updates. Thx in advance for feedback!
EDIT: Just noticed that if i right-click the cobble that would have dropped the dirt blocks it turns into dirt! Please tell me if any of you find something out!

...And now to wait for bukkit to update...
I thought Mojang said they would not release a full version until bukkit updated from now on?
