    lol my bad, i put the red font in to highlight the main points since i sort of wrote alot and didn't want people to TL;DR on this, and i just used comic sans as the font, didn't think it was that bad.
    ill change it to regular font now!

    i've been playing 1.9 and seen the mushroom and snow biomes, and it made me think.

    first of all, why not have WATERMELON men? (like what fumblemore did in that yogscast update episode?) call me crazy but we have mooshrooms and all this other weird stuff, i think this will be a neat addition. Perhaps not a man, but two smallwatermelons side by side with 3 legs and they just walk around like idiots!
    i think having them fall over aswell, like the 3 wheeled car in mr bean, just to be funny would be cool haha

    secondly, i love throwing snowballs at people, its hilariously fun but we don't exactly have any means of knowing if it hit (especially difficult on laggy servers)so i was thinking of a screen splash effect with snowballs, like just a little bit of snow just pops up, blocking your view a bit, when you get hit.
    if its possible, aswell, i'm not sure how easy it is to code but when you throw the snowball, also have a little bit of snow show up on their character skin? might be a bit difficult though...

    finally to my favourite idea to come out of this, we have mooshrooms right? the rediculously weird but funny addition to the shroom biome, but i think a we need more than that in a mushroom biome yes? how about a character similar to toad from mario except, upsidedown mushroom men or some other weird mob shape they can come up with and make it a thing. oh also, have multiple mushroom mobs with one having the flat, brownish tinge to it like the brown mushrooms and the other a more circular, traditional red color.
    the most awesome thing about this idea is that they can be passive to the player, but they can just fight each other alot, defending their mushroom villages/caves/treehouses, sort of like two gangs fighting each other! how i picture it is that they will be small characters, with long slender legs, and they fight by jumping high making silly noises and bouncing off each other (that being how they fight! we have suicidal snowmen, why not brown and red mushroom men fighting their way to survival like idiots! that would certainly be funny to watch and fun to play!

    leave a comment on what you think! good idea? i think it is, i put alot of thought into it, since it ties into whats been introduced plus adds alot of silly fun which is what minecraft is awesome at being host to!

    ps. if jeb or notch reads this, you can take these ideas, i wont go all bethesda on your asses okay! i would absolute;y love to have this in the vanilla, it's very minecraft-y and seems like itl be fun!

    feel free to post your ideas on what you think is awesome and what you see might be a good change!!

    we have a new release, version 3 is out!
    i have now added zombiepigmen arenas
    and also infrastructure to hold new mobs if notch ever releases any!

    hope you all like it!
    download it or if you are hesitant about it, watch the youtube videos and see if you like it!!!

    hey man, if you're looking for a good map for dual comms (or any multiplayer action) i recon my "mob battle royale" will do you good.

    it had the capability of holding 12 players (6 on each blue and red teams) who get put in a dark battle arena with mobs attacking you from all directions. it's good as for single player aswell but it does have the multiplayer compatibility.

    could ya give it a shot??? if you're unsure check out my youtube and it has a playthrough of a few of the arenas!!
