Thank you citricsquid for everything you have done.
Back in the days the minecraft forum was the first place I searched up to find friends to play with. Even though I didn't even had an account, because my parents didn't allowed it at that time ^^. In 2013 I finally got an account and could reply to threads. Around that time I also discovered Misa's texture pack, which is until this day, one of the biggest and most beautiful texture packs out there. Sadly Misa stopped working on the pack in 1.6.2, because Optifine stole the whole idea of the MCPatcher and got more attention with that. Thankfully Les made a patch with new textures for 1.9, so I could enjoy Misa's textures for a little longer.
As the game got updated multiple times, more and more textures where missing, and I made the decision to play with the original textues again. It really felt to me that a part of minecraft was missing and I eventually lost interest playing it.
The years passed by one after another. It wasn't until I came across the thread to Misa's pack by chance, that I've discoverd that Giam and Uniquitous continued working on the pack. I was so happy to see that there are still people trying to keep the pack alive. Of course I immediately downloaded the latest patch and started minecraft back up. And oh boy, that was one hell of a ride down memory lane.
All the things I've build where laying in a dusty corner on my hard drive for years. I remembered all the good times I had back then, that I just started crying like a baby, wishing those times would come back.
Just out of fun I started a Discord server about Misa's texture pack, to make it easier to communicate, but guess who joined it the first day. Right no one other than Misa herself. It was like I met my childhood hero. We still have a chat from time to time and I'm glad that it was made possible by your forum citricsquid.
You've made something that created memories that last for a lifetime. And that's something not many people can claim themselves to.

This post is copied from another forum, that was recently deleted. The first part is stuff I wrote back in 2016.
Hello everyone,
this is the start of something very special for me. A few years ago I fell in love with Misa's Texture Pack. The details, colors, mobs and everything else was just perfect. But sadly the pack isn't updated anymore. That's why I started trying things out myself. This is what I came up with so far:
(Media not available anymore since the hosting site is dead)
As you can see I chose a fairly high resolution (128x128) so I can get as much detail as possible without the need of a monster computer. My aim is to create realistic textures while still maintaining a playable game that is easy on the eyes.
Alright the history lesson is over now. Welcome to the reboot of my texturepack!
I could recover a few textures I've made back then, but I don't wanna keep them. Have a look for yourself:
Yeah I know, not my proudest work. Anyways I gained a lot more experience over the years and I have more free time than before so I picked up texturing again.
While on a walk trough my neighbourhood I took some pictures of materials I liked, and after a few hours I came up with a grass texture that I liked (Cat for scale):
The grass texture has a CTM of eight by eight blocks, which is fairly big and hides some of the grid pattern in normal terrain.
The next thing I want to do is the dirt texture so I can start on the side grass texture.
I have a discord server where I post updates more frequently than in this forum. I go more into detail on explaining stuff here. The main language on the server is german though, but there is an english channel to. You can join via this link: https://discord.gg/7BnevQ7 Hope to see you there

I guess this is dead now. The last update was five months ago. Always sad to not see a great mod in the mod lists for newer versions.

I just wrote a wall of text explaining you why I did this, when my browser crashed and the text was gone. I don't want to type everything again, so here is the short version. The original idea was that we all combine our textures in to one pack. Since I haven't heard from Giammod in the past weeks, I did it this time.
The link is in my signature, in case you can't see it, here's the link: https://discord.gg/7u6VAyF

Since there have been a few textures for 1.14 created, i felt the need to inform everyone who looks up this post and isn't on the Discord server, that there is a 1.14 Testpack available for download <- (click me).
Uniquitous I hope you are okay with the fact that your textures are in the pack.

Oh hi Misa,
haven't heard from you in a while. How have you been?I agree with the salmon, it looks like an unfinished model, just five cubes mashed together.

It's been a year since we last heard something from Greg. I gave up on hoping for an update. I swiched my modpack to 1.12.2, sadly without Project Blue. Maybe Industrial Wires could work for me. It has controlpannels too, but they don't work the same way as in Project Blue.

I tried myself on the sea turtle. For me this was my first time texturing someting biological too. I hope you guys like it. If not I still gained a lot of experience ^^

Is this mod now dead? The last update was half a year ago. Sad to see so many mods, that I played with for a long time, disappear.

The new door models really add a lot to the game. But the texture resolution looks a bit of.

Alright erveryone, I've made a tiny little discord server for all of you who are interested with the Misa resouce pack. I would be really happy if some of the artist who already contributed to the pack would also join. There are special roles waiting for you ^^

See you on the other side.

The downloads for version 1.13.1 are on the Misa main thread. The general discussion is happening there.
There is also a Discord server waiting for new users ^^

Ich habe jetzt mal Mcreator ausprobiert, aber wenn ich den Mod exportieren will schließt sich das Programm einfach. Das ist also auch keine Opiton für mich :/
