There is a server section on these forums where you probably will have to apply to join a vanilla server, I would recommend you play single-player before even trying to apply because they will want their players to have plenty of experience in minecraft.
Thank you for the advice. I have played in a single player world quite a while but it bores me a little because there is no one to talk to. It is a great game but I need a little bit of social.
I've only played Miecraft just recently but playing in a single player world bores me a little. I want to join a vanilla survival multiplayer server where I can hang out with other players and build stuff. I can not find it (or very difficult) in the server list.
Anybody want to allow this noob to join such server?
Thank you
(I apologize if this is not an appropriate topic to post in this section. I just wanna play Minecraft)
Hello! Here is my Monster Grinder.
It is powered by only 1 water source. There are three stages of this machine (I called it machine because I make it looks like one^^):
1. Sweep: To sweep the monster on the spawning platform to the suffocation chamber
2. Suffocate: To kill...!!!
3. Collect: sweep monster's drops to collection platform.
These three stages are activated by breaking a block. [shown in the image] These blocks act like switches; break the block to switch ON, place the block to switch OFF. This creates a redstone-powered machine look-alike.

I apologize if the tutorial is unclear. I was too exited when I finished it and quickly post it here before placing detailed explanation in the map. But if you have any question or comments, you are welcomed to reply on this post^^
(I do not claim this to be the first monster grinder to use such system, but I come up with this idea on my own)

This will all come in time, also infinite world will be a while away for reasons unknown
Also why would you play PE when you probably could play PC/Mac Version easily, i want to feel like i want to play PE Version because its different because there is no benefits playing PE Version when you could play PC Version easily
Its really something to think about
Very true brother. I really hope that the devs are not aiming to make MCPE similar to PC version. In fact, by making MCPE unique, there are more reasons to own both PC version and PE version.
MCPE can share the similar ideas and contents with the PC version but not making it comparable to the PC version. MCPE is nothing compared to the PC version.
Hi! I always wanted to make maps for MCPE but I find it really time consuming and difficult to make one in creative mode on my tablet.
I heard that you can make maps for MCPE on computer, both Mac and PC. Unfortunately, I'm a total noob in computer and hacking stuff. I've been looking for tutorial videos on youtube but I can't find any that can help me.
So, I start this topic hoping that there will be kind Samaritan souls that would give guidance not only to me but also to other mapmaking enthusiasts that do not have a clue how to do it.^^
I am using MacBook Pro and I really hope that I can make awesome maps on my MacBook.
Thank you very much!

1. Do I submit here on the thread or send you a private message?
2. Is the deadline on the 14/7/2013 or 15/7/2013?
This is interesting. I'm almost done with my creation^^
Thank you!
