    So i've found, finally, an area that spawns horses, but it is at least 2 large maps away from my own area. so i am going to build a nether transportation hub to shorten the distance And so i don't have to build a really long dirt bridge across 2 oceans.

    Question is, Can you ride horses through nether portals? or push them through?

    And also, How do you find out where a slime chunk is? I've searched a large area and not found a swamp (mostly desert and savana) so i'll need a slime chunk to get slime for sticky pistons and leads.

    Over the past few updates its been getting better and smoother for me, thanks to the dev who works on optimisation.

    I get a solid, consistant 60fps with hardly any fluctuation

    So what i understand is, technic is a launcher which you add modpacks to. kinda like magic launcher, only for packs instead of individual mods? I think i'll be fine which that.

    technic... i don't really know what that is lol, as i said, i haven't used mods for quite a long time. i think the last time i installed a mod was flans planes, back when there was only 2 planes in it lol

    edit: i've had a look at your mod pack, i'm afraid it simply has too many mods in it that would make it a bit too confusing for me, i prefer to add a few things, get to know them, the add a few more etc, otherwise i'd get confused as to what came with what mod and so on. Although that Tool/Weapon durability display in the bottom left corner of your packs screenshots looks good too.

    I haven't defeated it once :( apart from a few times in creative mode while experimenting with a enderman xp trap. I always get a bit bored of minecraft before i've reached a state ready for killing the dragon :(

    Ok, so i'm quite useless at getting multiple mods to work together, and i haven't installed mods for what must be years.

    I'm looking for somebody to put together a collection of mods for me, so that i can install them with relative ease.

    I don't believe there is an issue with mod maker permissions, as i'm not asking for this modpack to be a publicly availible pack, just a pack for me becuase i'm useless at installing mods :) please PM me the final product.

    This is a list of mods i'd like to have installed;

    Tinkerers Construct
    Buildcraft
    logistic pipes?
    treedecapitator or lumberjack or timber! edit: after learning there is an axe part of tinkerers construct that is effectively the same as these mods i've removed them from this list.
    mrcrays funiture mod
    plenty o biomes
    Archimedes' Ships
    rei's minimap
    More Nature

    As well as anything that is required for those mods to work correctly, if some things aren't compatible with others, then remove the lower placed mods in that list.

    Obviously i understand there is no mods for 1.7.2 yet, as forge hasn't been updated so 1.6. is fine by me.

    Oh and if there is a resourse pack avalilble that has multiple mod support i'd like that too.

    I always build small and functional, so its usually 3 high celings. Before carpets, i sometimes did 3 block thick floors, so i could have a different material on the floor of the 2nd fllor and have redstone laps in between with glass for lighting for the bottom floor.

    besides, it hasn't been removed at all, simpley changed into a rose bush, and its old version replaced by the poppy. If you don't like change, then a game still in development isn't the right game for you.

    Well, oceans are biomes like anyother, so i guess that, they will be as big as any other biome. Suggestion, Play on extra large biomes.

    If it bothers you soooo much, Then make a texture pack to change it back. Its a flipping tiny pixellated flower. The Rose bush is much more impressive anyway.
