Matt5067 posted a message on GoDaddy DNS Domain Fowarding Not Working
Not too good with this but here's what I found after doing a little research:

    1. Service: minecraft (Underscore will be applied automatically)
    2. Protocol: TCP
    3. Priority: 0
    4. Weight: 5
    5. Target: Your Minecraft host name.
    6. Port: The port your Minecraft server is set to use.
    7. TTL: You can leave as default
Hope this helps, if not hopefully someone more experienced with DNS can take a look :)

Ordered 2 services from this host, nearly instant setup for both. Very impressed with Raniu, probably the best host I've ever had in all my years of dealing with Minecraft hosts. Great prices, and best of all is the support times. They answer your tickets within 30 minutes of sending them, and the live chat is great. I recommend this to anyone in need of a Minecraft or other hosting services!

I've explained it before but I'll explain it again and use this post to link to in future because I have no idea where my last one went.

    How moderator applications work

There are 2 systems, there is mod-recruit which is what users see when applying and was built by the Curse development team. This system includes options for approving and denying applications, unfortunately for us this system is designed with a few applications in mind not for forums with almost 3,000 applications. The second system is one that I built, it's called "apparatus" and it is what we use to manage the applications.

Here's the basic "flow" of an application from beginning to end:

    1. A member goes to mod-recruit and submits an application, selecting the forums they want to apply for
    2. After enough applications have been submitted we "import" them from mod-recruit into apparatus (this is what we call a "batch" -- a collection of applications available in apparatus)
    3. Applications become listed in apparatus, staff vote on the applications administrators choose the ones they want to hire and send them a PM. During this time administrators can mark a user as "considering" which means they're considering hiring but haven't done so yet
    4. After all applications have been decided on (accepted or rejected) the batch is "exported" which means mod-recruit is updated to reflect the status of the application in apparatus

This means it's possible that you'll submit an application on September 24th, on October 2nd we'll import a batch and on October 3rd your application will be rejected, however until we "export" the batch you won't know this, which could happen on October 14th. It's also possible you'll apply on October 1st and be accepted on October 2nd, so there's no real "expectations" of times, it all depends on your submission time relative to a batch.

    Apparatus

So after we've started a new batch and all applications are imported this is what apparatus looks like:

(I left 1 username in so you can see where that would be)

Each application is listed line by line (with the username of the applicant displayed -- not the title of the application)

Next to the applications name is a list of the sections they applied for, if a section is greyed out with a line through (like MD is in the first application in this list) that means the MD admin has rejected the application for that section, but SYC and OT still being displayed normally means they have not yet to been decided on by the OT and SYC admins.

The status of an application is whether it is new, denied, considering or accepted. New means it has been imported and still needs to be decided on by an administrator.

Comments are the number of comments left by any staff member.

Score Is the percentage of yes votes vs. no votes. A score of 50% means 50% of votes are yes, a score of 0% means nobody voted yes and a score of 100% means everyone voted yes.

    What all staff can do

    Vote yes or no

Comment leave a comment including any relevant information that people should be aware of or to clarify why they're voting yes or no if it's not obvious.

Recommend clicking recommend presents a list of staff, clicking on a username will send that staff member a notification about the application. If for example I saw an application I think would be great for SYC I would recommend it to DanielleStarr.

    What administrators can do

Reject If the administrator for a section the user has applied for doesn't want to hire them they can "reject" for that section, this will update the application list to show that they're rejected for that section and will list the section struck out on the application back.

Accept/consider/deny This is for marking the application as complete; whether they're accepted or denied or being considered.

    Example applications

Here is an application that has been voted no on by lots of people, has comments and has been rejected for MD but still needs decisions from SYC and OT:

Here is an application that all the moderators love and is being considered

A copy of the apparatus documentation -- not worth reading but may clarify some points if you're confused:
