posted a message on Real Life or The Internet?
    Quote from EpicEnderMiner

There are some things that the internet can't replicate. The beautiful clouds above a grassy meadow in the summertime, the view of a giant mountain in the distance, even just having a conversation with people who are right next to you. The internet can do a very nice job of imitating those, but what is real- what is here, that you can really interact with, that you can see with your own eyes- That is so much better. So much more amazing. The internet cannot capture the beauty and magnificence that can make up our incredible world, and the real world cannot be bested by any attempt of forging an internet replica of it. The world is so much- Earth does not need to be updated to a newer version with more features, because it already has everything it needs to make it the best place to be. No matter how awesome the internet is made, the real world is still called the 'real world' because is real. It has more to offer than any video game or social networking site, if you bother to look for it.

Sorry about my philosophical rant, but real life ftw baby.

I'm not so sure, it's pretty amazing what can be done with WebGL.
    I'm only half-joking.

There's your internet summertime meadow with clouds. Next?

Anyway, real life is so much more personal, more intimate. The experience is incomparable.

Would that be Mircron, or brush? Calligraphy?

I'm an american male, very underweight and small, asian but not particularly smart.

    I don't meet many stereotypes.

    Quote from BioShock_Rules

When people spell color or armor with a U.
Or when they don't use caps, capitalize the first letter of every word they type, or simply use all caps.
And when people fail at grammar.
Not so much as saddening as enraging, though.

But... but I love colourful armour!

It makes me sad when I hear Americans using their oh-so-smart customary system.
Doesn't it make so much sense that 1 mile is 1760 yards? And that 1 yard is 3 feet, which is 12 inches. I mean, perfect logic.

Wow, great work. I like the concept, but what about naming with anvils to make it be [Trader] instead of [@]?

    Quote from Psycodragons

This is fairly decent, but Mojang said no more tiers.

    It isn't a tier...

Support, I like the use of emeralds being unique (we don't need emerald tools, but this sounds good).

Also, I think because of how random enchanting is, and that durability and strength are reduced by .4, it should be more like 1.5 times enchantability.

Anyone considering making an effort with DC?

posted a message on Why do we call it "donating" and is it moral?
Well, if you make $1000 a month with donations, no permit is required.
If you make $1000 a month with payments, a official business is created and income tax must be paid.

SO, it is the easy way out to say it is a donation.

I do like this idea. It has been suggested but this is a unique take that I think is different enough to not be considered redundant.

    I actually support. Great work!

This also happens to spruce trees; you'll never get a really tall thin one from a sapling.

I've always found it strange how only W/E can spawn those in.

posted a message on Mods and admins needed for family freindly server
    1. Age (by decade is fine, I don't need to know a DOB) A little on the younger side for a family freindly server, I turned 24 years old just this month. It does mean, however, that I have fresh ideas.
2.How long have you been on MC. I have been playing from Alpha 1.2 Halloween Update. That was 2010. My forums account is relatively new in comparison.
    3. Any kids of your own? Currently, no. I do plan to have kids in a few years with my fiancé.
    4. Where are you from? I am from Seattle, WA. That is UTC -8, or PST.
    5. Any admin/mod experience ... where? How did it go? I've been moderator and admin on numerous servers. Predominately those servers were faction/pvp servers. Often they were on the smaller side, with around 10 players on generally. I enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately for all parties, the server never received substantial donations and therefore quit shortly after a month or so. If you'd like names I could look for them. One was called ObsidianCraft (not the large obsidiancraft).
    6. And World Edit, World Guard, logblock experience? I have experience in both WorldEdit and WorldGuard. I can set flags, define regions, etc, and can make an entire set region with flags and all parameters required within minutes because I type somewhat quickly. In worldedit, I can make basic selections, polygons, etc, as well as copy and pasting buildings, flattening roads, or making a hilled area.

I hope you consider my application. Thank you, and have a good time!

    Mathified,
    Mathy.

posted a message on About Infraction.
    Quote from justproud2b

On the bright side you learn the first time! :) Best advice would be to read over the rules and any questions you have about them then ask here. I can honestly say the entire team would rather clarify rules or an action (if your unsure) rather than having to informal/infract someone. It also helps us to know which rules may need to be reworded or clarified due to confusion.

I know. Honestly, I finally understood the difference between mini-modding and being annoying just a while ago. That confused me for a long time as I gathered infractions for improper mini-modding (and once for properly mini-modding, but that was resolved and modified).

posted a message on Necro posting.
    Quote from justproud2b

30 days isn't really that much of an issue. The biggest issue with a topic and "Necro Posting" is when the topic becomes extremely old. Then people post just to say "Yeah." Typically if the topic isn't active anymore and extremely old the best you can do is create a new topic and if you care to refer to the old topic. If the topic is only 30 days old though and you have something to add to it then by all means post to it.

If someone necro bumps, and it is removed, does it stay at the front page?
