I think this is an interesting idea, similar to Hunger Games, yes, but with a much bigger sense of urgency and the like. Still, I think you need to flesh out the background information a little more, explain more about why (and how) the government put these people on an island in the first place. I find it hard to believe that if the government had a "lack" of talented warriors, it would kidnap ten and force nine to die in a brutal and sadistic way. Nevertheless, I find it cool that each person has a random weapon, but I think that they should only be able to use that weapon only (but maybe if they kill a person they can use their weapon as well). Like different "classes", but in a warror-type fashion. I wouldn't include any guns, for balancing reasons, but projectile weapons like bows and the like could be used without overpowering their user in the "battle". Keep working on this idea, it's a good one. :)

((Can everyone just re-read the OP IN GREAT DETAIL(!!!) in order to avoid any more confusion??? Meritania puts a lot of thought and work into these RPs, and just posting 2 lines about some useless crap isn't getting anyone anywhere! RPs are meant to be inspiring and allow the writer to get creative with characters and storylines. At least you can do (as previously stated) is write something about your company/group/whatever and create some sort of story or plot with it. Have you seen Meritania's last post: it contained at least 15 groups, and with all that clutter, clarity is key to organizing this! So hell, seriously RP with us who are trying to make this an enjoyable experience, or gtfo!!! I am done...))

Ok, I'm really drawn to this RP in an interesting way, as I'm a big fan of turn-based, stat-based RPs. I also like the idea behind this, but not necessarily the dates. I know that it has to be far enough in the future for the whole "end of the sun" thing to be real, but those large numbers do throw me off a little. Nevertheless, I'll make an app in the near future (in a little bit), and see where it goes from there.

Good luck, and cool idea :)

    Quote from Conson84

-I have a suggestion for a new feature, "Village Battles". We will have other villages that we can choose to attack and gain supplies from, but if we do that, we will also run the risk of attack. To prevent this, we can construct defensive buildings such as log walls and a moat to lessen the chance of an attack succeeding. But if we don't want to be hostile, we can set up a trade agreement, and have an exchange of supplies each turn. That would add a new section to the stockpile, the "Trade Exchange", where we would contribute items to the trade. If we don't keep up with the trade every turn, we lose reputation points with that village until they come and attack us for not keeping the deal. I hope you like it. :)
