There is an "after quest" option in Dialog availability...There are two buttons that say "select quest" right under the two buttons that say "select dialog" in the menu that pops up when you click on "edit" next to "availability options" while any dialogue is selected from the global dialogs menu. If you want the player to automatically get the next quest without having to click on another dialogue, then set that up by clicking on "next quest" in the menu for any other quest in the global quests menu and choose the next quest in the chain.

What do you mean that you can't pick up quests but you still get the text for it? Could you just explain a little more what exactly is happening?

Hey Noppes, I have a suggestion. There should be a sentry role, and if the sentry targets the player, all of the enemy NPCs nearby target the player as well. There could also be a timer on when the nearby NPCs attack, so that if the player kills the sentry quickly, he or she is not attacked. It would be great for adding stealth to a map.

Anyway, I suggest making the gold and diamond armor have different designs. Maybe the gold armor could be the Armor of Zeldron with your own design for the leggings and boots.

One way or another, I can't believe how long it's been since I saw this mod and it still has no content or progress...

Let me explain. The original maker of this mod was Albic. However, he stopped playing Minecraft at about the time that version 1.3 was released, so the mod wasn't being updated. Just recently though, Albic said that KurodaAkira would be the new modder. However, everything had to be completely remodded because of a major change in modding with the 1.3 update. Akira is still in the process of remodding it. Also, he made a new thread because Albic wouldn't have updated the old thread.

So here it is...the new thread.

INSTALLATION
-------------------

1. Start up Minecraft.
2. At the main menu, hit the "Options" button.
3. Near the bottom, hit the "Resource Packs" button. A new screen should appear and allow you to select a resource pack.
4. Hit the "Open resource pack folder" button and a new window will pop up outside the game. Drop the AdventureTimeCraft-9.0.zip file into this window.
5. Close the window and return to Minecraft. It should appear in your texture pack list.
6. Simply select AdventureTimeCraft-9.0.zip and click the "Done" button on the bottom

Would it be possible to have factions turn hostile/friendly towards each other with player dialogue? Say two factions are allied, and one betrays the other under their noses, the player tells the betrayed faction this and then become hostile towards each other. There are other scenarios I thought of like players ruling kingdoms on servers and going to war with each other etc.

Hey Noppes, This is such a great mod! I am working on a massive Skyrim-like world with NPC's, Quests, and the likes.

I have some suggestions that I came up with out of necessity:

1.
I think it would be really cool if the quest objective could be different than what you see when accepting a quest and what is on the quest log. If all three could be different that would be even better. For the first reason, this would be neat just so you could make the log easier to understand if you read it after not remembering the quest. This would more importantly allow you to make quests that don't give away twist endings (I.E. quest to go retrieve the orb from the temple, but you find broken orb and have to bring that instead to complete it).

2.
Have a way to mark "areas." This would be like some kind of tool (maybe bread ax) that allows you to put 8 corners of a cube to make an "area" Then under the global tab, you could manage your areas. You could make new ones or rename then like banks. Some customization options I think would be useful for this could be as follows:

You could toggle whether you get a message when entering the area and what that message is.

You could toggle effects for that area (I.E. a swamp makes you have Slowness or a evil dungeon makes you have weakness).

You could select what type mobs are able to spawn in the area.

You could (and this is my favorite) make entering an area one of the quest types (I.E. a quest where you are sent to investigate a town and find it burning so as you enter the "area" the quest finishes and you start one where you have to help).

So yeah, those are my ideas. I was drove to this because I wanted a quest where you are sent to go kill some demon in a temple but as you enter his main room it is a trap and a new quest is to escape. Obviously the quest would originally say "go kill this demon" but the real objective would be to just enter his boss room.

I've rambled on, long enough. Thanks for your time. I understand if this is too hard to write for, I'm a noob HTML coder so I don't know much about MC Mod writing.

Excuses aside I like how this update came out and custom sounds are defenitely a nice addition. I will need to find more sounds to include with the mod. Ill do that for the next update.

Texture loading from the .minecraft/customnpcs/mob folder does nolonger work. Im not sure if Ill be able to fix that either. You can now however add textures to your texture/resource pack. So if you have custom skins add them to the /assets/customnpcs/textures/entity folder either in your resource pack, the customnpcs.zip or in the minecraft.jar

Thanks to everyone helping with the beta testing you guys were a lot of help, we wouldnt have been able to release this quick if it wasnt for you guys.

Now lets hope for 1.7 that they dont change texture and music loading again, than I can update a little quicker.

Just found out how to get the folder working. Custom textures can now go into the .minecraft/assets/customnpcs/textures folder.
