The only thing is in my minds is that girl who wanished... I NEED to know what will happen.

    I'm sad to say that the mod has been discontinued but who knows maybe I'll do something else in the same fashion some day.
    The story however isn't dead I still write in my free time so that's a step xD

    There is a desire to and a great want to go back into modding. But as to will it be in the form of a standalone mod (Wanderer and you can check it's repo on my github) or a successor to this addon is the main question.
    But which ever to happen will require me to replay MC again (last time I played was years ago) and with TC finally released for 1.8 (The changes look awesome).
    But just as a truth that needs to be said and it's what held me back from coming back to modding. The fact that TC added alot of things which personally satisfied me and added things I thought missing (I still feel some stuff lacking though). Releasing a new addon will require a re imagination of the concept (Is fighting taint easier than before or harder?)
    There are something that I would like to readd though (The focus of illumination for example unless TC or another addon have something of the like and also I on't know how the new samurai armor look but I would like to readd the infernal armour again but with better features (I think the Wardenic armour did just that I would like to have it again))
    If anyone would like to see a successor be sure to give your suggestion or even come to my channel #FortRose on IRC(EsperNet)
    That should help me in deciding how things will go
    Just as a thing I have to say... really thank you for asking it's nice to know people still care about my abominatons of mods :)

    Well I don't know really they don't spawn at a certain place. I would make sure the mod was at the start of the sever if not seek any biome that is kind flat (like the plains). Things are easier to generate there.

    The focus of purity is broken thats why it has no recipe. Something in the update broke the projectile's behavior, It was a WIP so I didnt really bother with it sorry

    You know what my 1.5 years in modding have taught me? You should keep people on their toes XD

    Eloraam does it Soaryn does it Azanor kinda does it Pahimar does it Itaros does it and the list goes on and on

    okay enough with me joking

    Thaumic Warden lacked "goal" it promised something and delivered something else

    The new goal is protection and utility as well as some exploring(Though that may change depending on how things come out)

    The thing that worries me is that half the stuff I coded now are actually stolen wanderer code and ideas

    (The binding focus which makes 2 players able to teleport to each other at will is a stolem idea from wanderer's guardian system)

    But Im yet to see how things come out

    Haha thanks alot :)

    The reason TW has been left for so long was explained in previous posts but there was another reason I failed to mention...

    Thaumcraft has changed alot than when I first used it and I have neglected alot of features making TW abosolete. But for me to reunderstand TC correctly again TC itself needs to be done to a degree which... um... uhh.... is not at its current state.

    Its experiencing alot of changes currently and Im sure there will be more once it is ported to 1.8

The book also holds a philosophical view that I like which also made me like this mod.

    There's also a "chance" that another port/continuation will appear. That port will be by Itaros the author of ChemLab. I totally recommend you check his mod, it's amazing. Itaros is a very cool and skilled person and a close friend to me.
