    There's your problem.

You don't appear to have a graphics card (Intel HD Graphics). As a whole they largely suck. You would need a dedicated graphics card in order for the FPS cut from FRAPS to not have much of an impact.

Refer to my other post for more of an explanation.

    This

If you want we can suggest some GPUs, if you would like to look at an upgrade.

Oh there are a lot in dallas/huston I believe.

But outside of that not so much.

Houston is how it is spelled.

DFW in general has a lot of tech support jobs. The economy out here is hardly hurting, in general.

Certs being outdated is a giant pain. Usually places will let you slip by but sometimes they want you to re-take them (if they tell you to, make sure they pay for everything, get it in writing, give THEM the copy).

Finding an entry-middle range job in this field in NH is not exactly easy. So many places went under including small shops that everywhere that could possibly need someone is filled up.

There's always comcast tech support but LOL SCREW THAT.

    **** that **** @ Comcast tech support

I live in Texas, it is fairly easy to get a entry-middle range job, that mainly being tech support. There aren't many SysAdmin like jobs though. From what I have seen at least. I haven't really had a "real," job per say and am not really active in the search for a job, so my information could be flawed.

Hoping to get office certified later this year and possibly something else.

Oh, and I took a CS 100 class that is basically the equivalent to the office cert. Forgot about that it was painful...

Firstly, get Optifine. You should see a pretty large FPS boost.

Secondly, what version of Windows are you running? (Home, Home Premium, etc.)

Just a note for you, it doesn't really matter what version he is running unless he is trying to run more than 16 GB of RAM. There is very little differences between the versions, so it's not really worth bringing it up otherwise.

I am 20. I have certifications, three of them. I have professional training and years of experience.

Just out of curiosity, what are your certs? I don't have any yet but have the same qualifications as an A+ and N+ certified tech. I haven't quite had the time to go and get certified, and it wouldn't help me much as I just turned 16 anyway.

    What are your computer specs?
Have you allocated enough memory to minecraft?
Do you have a 64bit Java version?

Did anyone think to ask for his BIOS? It can help narrow down the issue if we have the description of the beeping paired with BIOS beep codes.

Also I started looking at the Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3. Looks like it would work pretty well for me. Yet again however, I wonder on memory compatibility and wonder how it would compare to the p8p67-v LE. To me, they look much the same (with the exception of an extra pcie 16), to someone more experienced, maybe not?

The Vengeance memory you have selected will work fine.

I was looking for certain kinds..that is appearing to be a mistake. Thats ok though, first time round, mistakes are made and time is spent. So it should be compatible with any corsair I throw in there?

Pretty much any DDR3 stick you throw at it. If you want me to check for compatibility just post it here.
