They are decent, you would be better off getting a converter and a good pair of headphones and a mic though.

First, catfish's is cheaper. Another big difference is the Brand, Lenovo's are very reliable and reputable. The processors are about equal. His hard drive is bigger, but slower. Only thing I'd be a bit worried about is the graphics card. It'll be all you need for Minecraft, but if you get into stuff like BF3 and Skyrim, its not good enough.

    My recommendation is this: http://pcgamesi.com/...mers-black.html

First, its a good price compromise between your and Catfish's. It has a faster and larger hard drive, as well as 8GB RAM vs. 6GB. i7 Processor, and great graphics card.

You should try and find that with an i5 you won't get much benefit when it comes to gaming with an i7.

It will play it but I would stay away from inspirons if at all possible. Dell's consumer side is a bit iffy and not the greatest quality.

Yeah like said above mechanical pencils have very little purpose over actual pencils or pens. Some computer grading systems can't read mechanical pencils. Overall I agree with toast_burner in that schools should encourage actual pencils.

This is false, it is based on the type of graphite used. As long as it is number two it can be read.

Also, I found it easier to write neatly with a mechanical pencil. (I have handwriting issues because I am blind in one eye)

I am in the crazy Texan boat on gun control and think that as long as you are a responsible citizen with the training required (New laws on training and such should be enacted.) to use what ever category of firearm you happen to want you should be able to have it. Granted, I believe at the same time if you have a house full of guns on a compound the government has justification to keep tabs on you within the law. I also believe that you should be able to open carry handguns. (Of course within the law which would be public property and private property that allows it. Out of secured areas, etc.) In the end the world is a ****ed up place so why not give responsible citizens something to defend themselves.

As for hunting, way worse things happen in farms so I don't really care.

If someone is intent on killing you, then by all means, defend yourself. However, a typical mugger would rather take your wallet instead of killing you, and if you cooperate, you're more likely to get out of it alive. If you can escape the mugger and run into a crowded area, then, yes, that would be your best bet.

This is the sentiment I am trying to communicate, thanks for the better wording.

Many of these "strategies" will get you killed, seriously injured, or stuck in jail. To reinforce what the actual voices of common sense in this thread are saying, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFEND YOURSELF and report the incident to the police. Sure, you may see some guy in the movies kicking the asses of all of his assailants, but, unfortunately, real life does not work that way. In a real mugging scenario, you'd most likely end up as just another homicide victim on the side of the street.

I don't think this is quite right, you should defend yourself, but it should be a last resort being the keyword. Running or submitting is usually the best option. Getting police involved as soon as possible is also important.

Did id knock them out and curve stop them, but then again I'm violent as F**K when i get mad. In all instances with rude people such as them I would've bashed their heads in.

That's me, now if i had the money I would've gotten that to the bank and come back to them with a gun or a knife bigger then theirs...

BUT nothing is more affective then angry cops/parents so go their first.

    Curb for future reference.

Fancy Jeep knife with window-puncher-outer-thingy and seatbelt cutter, smartphone, keys, 8 gig flashdrive, headphones, Leatherman multitool, wallet, and, I kid you not, a leather belt with a bottlecap remover, Philips head, and flathead screwdriver built into the buckle.

Could you find me the model? would be kind of handy.

A thread about things that you carry with you often or on you every day, you can simply list them or take a picture.

So here's mine (Sorry about the shitty photos, my webcam is acting funky so I had to use my phone):

This is all kept in my bag except for my knife and my real phone if I have pockets.

My real phone is a LG Quantum.
The blue case contains different cords.
The EpiPen case is also a first aid kit.
    The SNES controller is gum.
The clunker phone is an emergency only phone.
The headphones I have here are sennheiser M-400s (Found them in a box, they are okay) and Skull Candy Titans.
The knife is a SOG Flash II, FS8 variant I believe.

Again, sorry about the shitty photos.
