I don't know why people don't take the time to exercise anyway. It's makes you feel better, live longer, and makes you more attractive to the opposite sex. Why would you not want to exercise?
I support it.
Lots of reasons, lack of energy, injuries, lack of time, lack of resources, some people just can't lose weight easily because of preexisting conditions, no mental drive, so on and so forth.
Feb 20, 2014I think it should be up to the private sector, not a government requirement. I am not particularly anti-government, but that's pushing the bounds. However, I think that it should be allowable to charge someone who is overweight with no pre-existing problems that would contribute to weight more and that is for both private or public insurance.Posted in: General Off Topic

Im actully graduated as a IT Tech and what in the world is PC Part Picker? Let me google this stuff up. Oh Im sorry I got a piece of paper and I bet you use this as a guide for YOUR computer and chose the most expensive one.
I am gonna just have to say that's not true as someone that is two semesters away from graduating with Network Engineering and Network Security degrees.

Read #1 again. Think harder. Much harder. Very harder.
#1: "Traditionally, one does not compare 'build quality' of corporations. I would like to know how this is done."
Not quite sure what you are meaning, but if my understanding of what you are saying is right, you are just being a pedant when you know full well what was meant by others.

i have a friend irl who i have gotten every one of my dell laptops from. i dont think i have payed for a single laptop because they dont have quite as good quality as desktops, although that might change in the future as my latitude d610 is getting long in the tooth and xp is going out of support. however as you said their are good models and bad models. even if it was free i would reccomend against a latitude d600 anyday...they are the only dell laptops that ive seen that i can genuinely say are bad. they get so hot during casual web browsing it feels like its gonna explode (i own one and i have tried it with and without the battery and it still got super hot) but around that age was the dark age of computing that was saved by the athlon 64. imo no one would still be using pcs as much as they do without the athlon 64s. pentium 4s were so bad (oops getting off topic).
although i have a hard time recommending inspirons or any consumer laptop. consumer laptops are hit or miss.
if you dont need super ultra power get a business laptop. no ifs. no buts.
(great getting off topic again)
the latitudes generally usually have good quality.
You have a business class model, latitudes can be run over by a car and still run.

You're wasting your time. No one will listen. All you can do is laugh and parody, really, while they fuel their fuel and call anyone who does not fan the fire an apologist. Make the parody as obscure and convoluted as possible, so that they have good reason to misread it and you are the only one to see the hypocrisy. That said, I'll drop the sardonic guise for a moment:
Dell is no better than any other company. They are all cost-cutting aberrations. However, statements like "Sager has better build quality than Dell" make no sense, because: 1) Traditionally, one does not compare "build quality" of corporations. I would like to know how this is done; 2) (Assuming that the laptops are being compared) Traditionally, companies produce more than one line of laptops, which are made from different processes and materials, and these change frequently; 3) One can find or fabricate anecdotal evidence to support the opposite conclusion.
Similarly, "logic" and "reason" are nonsense, and these "logical explanations" are attempts to substantiate (emotional) stereotypes and convictions.
What are the first and last letters in "bluntness?"
Christoi's post, on first glance, seems fine.
Don't really care to get into this whole ordeal to the fullest, just want to address the bold. Why do you think you do not generally compare build quality? If you are an informed consumer you will look into every facet of a product. As far as how it's done, do you think that it is completely forgone in reviews? Or that techs, who often also do sales, won't make a note of which products are poorly made and push for a slightly more expensive product that would offer higher commission? It certainly is easy considering that people want things that last. I used to have quite a knowledge of models and generations of certain laptops that were built well versus built with shoddy components, and this came from first hand experience from working on them, as well as reading plenty of reviews. You are right and things change, but at the consumer level, Dell has consistently lesser quality than other companies for similar prices. This is not always the case, but often it is, that is why I would suggest another company over Dell until I am more sure of the quality of the product. Dell is not bad, but there are often better options.

You probably can't host any server with that.
You can, doesn't take much power to host a sever usually, at least on a small scale. However, I wouldn't use it to host a server because it's a laptop, laptops make horrible servers because of horrible heat dissipation.
Also it won't matter if your internet isn't up to par, what's your down/up?

You guys dont get it do you? OP is on a really tight budget and he just wants to play minecraft with a little money. He can only use his gift cards on those 4 notebooks. Nothing else. Keeping on topic, the laptop with the intel pentium is worse than the one with the i3 3217u as it does not support hyperthreading and has a very basic intel hd graphics compared to the intel hd 4000 the i3 provides. The gateway notebook is out. Both the other AMD laptops are incredibly crappy and perform smilar if not worse to the pentium gateway notebook. Your best choice is the sale price
Dell 15.6" Inspiron 15 Laptop PC (I15RV1383B) 500GB Hard Drive Capacity, 4GB Memory - Black.
It should run minecraft on low to medium settings with playable fps.
I have worked on that specific Dell several times, it's build quality is sub-par, would suggest something like this, similar specs but slightly more for a better build quality.
It was built with planned obsolescence in mind it seems as a lot of them came in soon after whatever warranty service wore off.

Powersupplies that come with a case is quite good for a budget build. He can change it when he has spare money, but maybe not now.
I beg to differ, at least for gaming or higher performance builds, as a tech I have seen those things charred to hell.
