They did update it and completely rewrote the code. It was current for 1.4.7 when their remake came out which was the current Minecraft version, so not sure what you are talking about. People start asking for update within minutes of a new version of Minecraft coming out. If you followed the thread you would know that they have been trying to fix things before they released the 1.5.1/1.5.2 versions. Quite frankly if people want to use the mod so bad then stay on 1.4.7 until they release it for the next version. No one made them update to 1.5.1/1.5.2, but if they did they have to understand that mods update when the authors have time to update it....keeping in mind they all have real lives and are not getting paid to do this.
