posted a message on [Idea/WIP]Notum-Infused Minecraft
Sorry this thread is dead and stuff, I've had other things going on, I would still like to see this pull through though, what I'm going to need are a new "inventory" for the Nano's to be stored in, these can be placed on the main hot bar, I'll also need another hot bar above that to display the currently running nano's with timers displaying how long they have left, the nano's should have unlimited uses, but have a cool down, so you can't spam heals for example.

I'll get to writing out each nano we'll have, and once we've built up the basics, it shouldn't be too hard to add more.

    TL;DR? Here's a list.

    -Sprites
    -Nano Inventory Gui
-Inuse nano bar gui (above hot bar)
    -The nano's themselves
-The nano craft ingredients and tools.

posted a message on 18th Century Video games?
I don't know any games in particular, 18th century is a bit odd, however there are Mods for mount and blade that I think most anyone would enjoy and there's bound to be one set in the 1700s just check it out on their forums. forums.taleworlds.com

posted a message on If MW3 is anything like MW2/Black ops...
I hate the CoD franchise now, I got MW2 long after it's release, I had a bit of spare change and thought I may as well try it out, as a PC gamer I bought it on steam, let's just say I very soon switched to AlterIW which, admittedly is more fun but I still only play it when I'm really really bored. The games just serve no challenge to me, an FPS on multiplayer should not be easier than the "Easy" game mode on the campaign, it's ridiculous gameplay.

Not a fan of the halo series either.

Smite me down where I stand if it so pleases you : ) but I honestly think anyone who supports activision or works as part of their company monitoring the release of the Call of Duty Series should be maimed in some way. Activision have taken any value of of games and treat the creators like Nike treat sweatshop workers, I honestly believe what they're doing is wrong and so I say here online right now that I vow never to buy another game released under the publishers Activision.

I like the Japanese, but the germans are good too. Umm, there's nothing too particular you need to know, other than maths and literature are very important. Get them as soon as possible.

posted a message on So I played Terraria...
I'm agreeing with the OP on this one. I was extremely disappointed with the playability of terraria, I'm not going to compare it to minecraft, it's a different game, comparisons are not needed.

However many things just keep me from playing the game... I got it and after a couple of hours I was bored, I played it again a few days later and it just couldn't grip me. I have played so many games before now that I think I can tell when a game to me is not worth playing, terraria is one of those cases.

Again I am extremely disappointed by this, I was hoping for something fun, enjoyable and with plenty of replay value. However many people do enjoy it and kudos to the developers, unfortunately you cannot please everyone : )

Create armies by combining 3 separate groups together, much stronger than the individuals, -will definitely help you with those barbarians-

as for the diplomacy, it's always a bit tough, but you can't be friends with everyone... decide who you dislike straight away, and you'll find people who'll agree with you and you won't have to be on a leash all the time.

I've only played once before, I really enjoyed it... was too long ago to remember what it was exactly though... However I've been meaning to start up playing it with my gf, however we don't have much money and if anyone can tell me the absolute necessities to start a decent game... would you have the kindness to send a pm?

posted a message on Himeji Castle
It seems unfinished to me... no sign of any attempt at windows, looks far too small and there's no outside décor... I think you should continue to work on it, make it better and take into account it's surroundings. The building isn't famous on it's own, location also plays a big part.

Haven't been working on this recently, but should probably finish the rest of the sprites and attempt some pseudo-code for one of the nano-skills. I'll have to learn eventually : ).

If it weren't for google I wouldn't be playing minecraft today.

I honestly found it before it had been released as a standalone and was only playable in-browser. It was after a friend introduced me to cube and I wanted to find something better, google will forever be my friend.

12x3x4 not sure if it's the smallest, but it's compact and works and can be hidden very well as demonstrated.

posted a message on A new warning about ADFLY.
I received a file called bg.exe from adfly what must've been only an hour ago. Avira antivir instantly picked it up and removed it, but it was whilst downloading too many items. Either way, just keep your antivirus working and you should be fine.
