I think you should choose me to join because I am a very friendly guy. I love helping out with things with the community and with others such as playing a minigame or building just about anything! I would contribute whether it be time for building a building or someone is perhaps needing donations to help with something. I also very much enjoy making friends and just generally interacting with the community. If someone doesn't like something I'm doing, I will stop.

For my age I have had lots of people comment about my maturity level and how it's higher then the majority of kids the same age as me. And personally, I think I am quite a mature person when the situation calls to be, but can also be laid back and chill too.
Strength's:
My main strength in Minecraft is the detail aspect in building (I LOVE building) and noticing how little things could be improved on an overall build. Other then that I pretty much enjoy every other aspect of MineCraft. Also, I like to mess around with redstone a little bit, becasue it is quite fun, but I'm not the greatest at it.
Weakness's:
My weakness in Minecraft is probably, sounds ridiculous, is finding a place to live. I am ridiculously picky when it comes down to that. It must be practically perfect and I usually move 2-5 times before actually finding a place I like.

I have used one before and had one set up, but I never really remembered how to link it properly, but I think that I can learn how to. I also know what blocks could be more valuable to people then other ones.

I used to play on this really awesome server named MineCarve. It had the awesomest community and we always did things togther like caving, building, pranking and probably the most enjoyable thing, was decorating spawn for different occasions like Christmas and Halloween. Sadly, our admin could not support it fully anymore and it was almost constantly lagging and he eventually had to shut it down.

Well, depending on if it damaged my base or broke any of the rules I would probably laugh at it and probably enjoy the fact that someone put effort into having fun and start plotting a pranking revenge at whoever was the person to prank me.
What makes you better than an average Minecrafter?: I honestly don't think that anyone is better then one another on Minecraft, it's all about how good the person playing is personality-wise. You could be the best builder in the world and know how to find diamonds the quickest, but I complete jerk. But you could know the exact same things but be a nice, caring, funny (etc.) type of person that people would actually enjoy to talk and work with. Plus there really isn't much of a skill in Minecraft such as in StarCraft2 or any other type of competitive game that could be the deciding factor if you are better then the average Minecrafter.

Not much you really need to know But one thing. I would attempt to dedicate lots of time into this server. But I do have lots of other things happening in real life such as sports (Boxing, soccer and Volleyball) but once again, I would defiantly try to make room for it whenever I could.

Why do you prefer playing in a small community?:
I very much so enjoy being in a very small community (30- people) because you have trust with everyone. As appose to yourself building something super-fudge-covered-awesomeness, then it being completely burnt to the ground. Another point additionally would have to be the fact that you can meet other people. Thats the whole point of many people signing up for this- they want to meet new people because they are bored of playing single player. Thats also what I want to do, make friends, build with people, do small games with them and the list goes on! Just the fact itself that you can just even talk with them, while in survival, while not being worried about your structures being blown up is pretty awesome. Also, my last point, everyone seems to be more friendly with the less amount of people. When there is 100-200 people hanging around on the server, it makes it harder for the owner.
What is your favourite aspect of playing on a server with a vanilla-like game play?:
Vanilla to me is still very fun, even through the fact that i've been playing for 3 years now. It sometimes bugs me when they add to many plugins or mods. To me that kind of ruins the game, sometimes enhanching, etc. Overall I probably will never get bored of Vanilla survival. Creative by itself is cool because you can build whatever, but it completley throws out the whole survival aspect out of the window.

I enjoy hobbies such as cooking, art, reading, video games (Minecraft And I like this particular video game specifically because I enjoy the fact that I can perfect it however I please. 2. Age: 13 and a half years of age. I know you said specifically and very clearly stated in the rules that I must be 15 or close to it. But I want to prove even though I may not be the asked-of age I can still be very mature. I just want a chance at the possibility of getting in this server.
3. Why do you want to play on our server? I was on a previous server related to this one. It had a very nice, active, fun community and most importantly it was fully survival, nothing else added. Sadly, after a few months of playing on the server the admin could not keep it running any more and all the members dispersed. I pretty much only had one of the contacts from the server. It honestly sucked to see it all go. After that I just couldn't go back regular vanilla with out finding it...rather boring/dull. So then I started to search for another server. I must have applied, over the years, for five to ten vanillas servers, none of them to my liking. Mostly because of the staff and players griefed, messed around etc. So now, today, I found Simplex. This looks like serious-ness, not just like all of the other survival servers, accepting every single application whether good or bad. Also, everything on the rules looks as fair as it can get.
4. What can you contribute to our server? I think I can contribute lots of fun and a good working aspect to this server. I would help out if someone needs it, like if they are on the grind to do something weather it would be mass-mining, mass-building, etc or contribute building time and resources into a community build, if we happened to have one. I would also be a very active player, roaming around. (The only other game I play aside from MC is League of Legends.)
5. What are your strengths and weaknesses in Minecraft? I think one of my main and greatest strength in Minecraft would probably have to be the little details in build project, not really mattering on the size or shape. I also like to embark on new projects. For my weakness I would have to say I'm not great at driving boats... Hahaha, just kidding. Probably it would be not surviving (Should be Fuuuun in UHC mode.) that well. I do have the knowledge of making potions and all that extremely helpful 'stuff' like that, but I do take a lot of risks that the majority of the time make me get killed and/or rage.
6. What is your opinion on the saying, "Honesty above all."?: I think the quote is directing towards honesty is the foundation that all great things that happen. There could be amazing builds on the server but if you can't trust anyone else, what is the point. It's almost like playing alone. (I'm terrible at explaining this... But I do know what I mean and what that quote means.)
7. Do you like the fact that we have no opped players unless of a grief or theft?: I think that is a fair rule. If, for an example, it took seven hours to build something and you put a lot of work and time into it and someone just blows it up like its nothing, then that rule should come into play. But if something that took maybe ten minutes to make was on fire then I think they could rebuild it without being opped.
8. What prompted you to try out this server? As in what made you first get interested in plain old Vanilla?: My very good friend had Minecraft at the time and told me that I should try out. So I did on his computer. It was awesome. So a little while after that I was finally interested enough to buy Minecraft myself. Also, later on, I found out about the Mindcrack server which further put my interest in Vanilla Minecraft.

Experience with Minecraft: I have played two-ish years on Minecraft. I know how to craft the majority of the items on this game and can build very detailed buildings.

Why you would like to join: I have been searching for servers like this one for quite a few years now, still not being able to find the suitable one because of immature players or just plain bad staff. I was on one though it was really fun, had a great community and everything, but sadly it lagged itself to it's grave. So then I went on the search to find a new one, here I am.
How often would you be coming on the server: I would probably come on quite a lot, considering Minecraft is one of the two games I play the most, aside from League of Legends. So I can put a few hours a day, depending if I am doing something else outside of MC.
Have you ever played on a server like this: Indeed I have. It was really fun, I loved the people/community and we played together lots.
Will you steal, grief, or cheat?: No, no I would not. I just don't like the idea, ruining the game for others.

REASON FOR APPLYING: I have been looking for an extreme amount of time to find the right Mind-Crack related server. I almost found one called Minecarve. It had a fantastic, really nice community, with really epic builds. But sadly, it lagged itself to it's virtual grave, the rest of the members disappearing, myself never seeing them from there on. So yeah. I'm here now in new hopes for some of the attributes I found in Minecarve. I also really want to join because sometimes on normal survival it gets boring. But when you play with multiple people it is very fun and you feel like your builds arent for nothing. Plus the teamwork aspect.
SOMETHING ABOUT YOU: I really love Minecraft (Hence the reason I'm writing this application). I also do enjoy sports outside of video games like Volleyball and soccer. In Minecraft I am fairly good with Redstone and quite good with building houses of different kinds (Eg: Roman, Steampunk etc) I would like to post videos soon, once I get a new laptop bcause mine broke so I am down to using my brothers really slow-ish laptop. So yeah...
(P.S I have played with YoeXoe and CandleCookie before on a server previous to finding this one.)
