nice idea, but it would be better if this was an easter egg to a hidden creature in this mod, like a blood dragon, or something creepy

I see what you're saying, my suggestion was to put things in that are not just part of the mod, get it now? blood dragon... awesome, kinda like its extinct, but the book still mentions it.

Mowzie, I had an idea for the drop from the stalker mob. It could drop it's pelt, which could be crafted into either a full set of armor, or just a chest plate, which would allow the player to become one with the shadows. The way this would work, the player would become invisible, invulnerable, and basically undetectable, except for the shadow beneath their feet. I think that's already there when invisibility is applied (I could be wrong), so it wouldn't even be that difficult. While in shadow state, the players POV is lowered, and the edges are darkened. The player cannot interact with the world or anything in it while in shadow state. In an area with a high light level, the player moves slower than normal, but as the light level decreases, the speed increases, being normal at 7 and extremely fast at 0. Vertical services are climbed instantly. The shadow state only lasts for a minute at a time, and needs 10 seconds to recharge.

    What do you think?

Hey I just happened to notice the bestiry( correct me if im wrong) I thought instead of all of the mobs in the book are not just the mobs in this mod, like have a page about the ender dragon, to make it seem like "more real," or about creepers, like an easter egg.

I have studied these wonderful ancient creatures for three years now, but I have just discovered something truly terrifying. It seems off, a silent harvenger of death. I do not know its purpose, but it seems to be made of an explosive matter. It is constantly stalking me, because of this I shall call it a- (page is ripped)

let me know what ya think.

So, I seem to have found the secret to "befriending" the Barakoa...

It seems that if you travel far away, then rapidly back, for example using iChun's Doors mod, the Barakoa will no longer target you, or indeed react to you in any way whatsoever.

Took a pic with my two new buddies here.

I heard the same thing happens with creepers.

    Reminded me of this: https://goo.gl/DBB2HY

There's also a fun little Slime-Trapped Chest in that video, would something like that be possible?

Only took four edits to get the bloody link working...

    Make that six.

    ~sigh~ seven.

That was what I was inspired by. oh and a slime in a chest is possible, have a despenser underneath the trapped chest with a slime spawn egg inside.

In terms of content, they will be done after villages and Barako. (Excluding the rival tribe)
In terms of time, late December.

Oh! That's cool! But that would be better for a different mod.

Yeah, I thought so, and I wasn't even sure this was fit for a mob specific mod, so okay!😄

Mowzie okay, just imagine this, if it does not make sense tell me what doesn't make sense.

You have just found all the ingrediants to construct the nether portal, but when you use the flint and steel, Boom! The tentacles of a ghast come out, and try to grab you, you must desroy the tentacles before going to the nether.

It would be a mob though, or the tentacle thing would not work. I just randomly thought of this, I don't really want this done, but I just threw it out there anyway.

This just came to my head. On a really rare occurence while lighting the nether portal, It will change into a different entity, The entity is the nether portal frame with ghast tentacles coming out of it, like the ghast is trying to reach through, This can be considered a suggestion or insperation.

    Mob mechanic idea;

    mechanic name: greedy hog
    Discription:
this mechanic would be for any type of tamable but very wild mob.
the mechanic is soposed to reanact realistic interactions with wild creatures
the way the mechanic works is that you can only tame the mob by holding out a peice of meat or plant (depending on the mob you hopfully asign this to)
the mob wil then slowely aproach you and eat the food out of your hand with similar sound effects and textures as that of a player eating food
if you move away, turn, or click either button on the mouse while the mob is eating out of your hand, they will either jump back and attack or jump back and flee (this mechanic would most likely be used for shy mob creatures)
once fed the animal will be tamned, although sometimes it will take multiple trys
if you right click the animal with the food, you will lose it but the mob will also start attacking you

this mechanic could also be used in a different way: when walking around in a forest, a specific type of mob (monkey or cat/dog like) will snatch the food from your hand and have it visibly in their mouth as they attempt to escape. You can chase after them and if you hit the tiny hit box at their mouth they will drop the food but wil then start attacking you.

these same mobs could possibly also gourge (that's a word... Right?) themselves on your food that you dropped when you died and will be seen walking the lands with multiple different peices of meat in their mouth, slowing them down. These mechanics could be used for multiple diferent mobs, such as some slug/frog beast inwhich gorges on all your meat that you have dropped when you died, some chimp like beast or wild dog-like mob that steals food straight from your hand. And a epic looking, nearly over powered(for a pet), relatively large, rare, warg-like beast or rhino-like beast that can be tamned with the first mechanic I talked about, the eating out of hand tame mechanic.

So it's like how an ocelot works? I like it.

I like the design, but the fighting mechanic sounds too much like the Wroughtnaut. I'll definitely give it some thought.

Oh. What happens when you try even more recent versions? Like 0.5._ or 0.6.0?

Yeah, I did not know how killing him would work, so I gave our bony friend a very uhh "overly used," fight mechanic, not in this mod, but in other videogames, and it seems like I've started a tidal wave of suggestions. Ther was another fight mechanic though, the one with the shackles, I wouldn't be supprized if you did not see it, I did not indent anything, (makes it hard to read)
