Yeah, I guess, but it just doesn't feel right. If you buy Minecraft on Xbox One you want Minecraft on Xbox One NOT Pocket Edition.

But it's an improvement on the pocket edition. Things that have been in console edition for ages like stained glass have been added.

I'm currently playing the beta for the Windows 10 edition with a controller. I'm assuming it will be a similar experience to playing on the xbox one.

As soon as I created a world I noticed differences to the console edition. Mobs are more numerous, biomes are bigger, even the new easy crafting interface is better once you get the hang of it.

There are things I don't like, like not having coordinates on maps but overall it's just seems better. Servers are not out yet for the beta unless you enter IP addresses for them manually, so I don't know what mini games will be like, but from what I've seen on youtube they do look a lot better than the ones you get on console.

I do get what you're saying, but I just want Mini-Games to be updated. and also wouldn't you just be able to go into the old Minecraft create that world then use in Bedrock?

I understand why you want mini games updated but I just can't see it happening. They are just not going to waste resources updating the original xbox one and switch versions when they have been discontinued and are no longer available to buy.

Apparently some of the servers will have mini games so they wont see the point of updating the ones in the xbox one edition.

The only way xbox one will get console edition mini game updates is if they ever make the xbox 360 version backwards compatible and playable on xbox one.

    Quote from x1t0m1t0m1x»

Upon hearing about the Better Together Update I was truly excited. It didn't occur to me until today that win 10/PE has no quasi connectivity. Now I understand that to many its more of a convienience than anything, it makes redstone much more straightforward. But to advanced redstoners this is an important feature that can be used to make super fast piston contraptions and often simplify advanced circuits. The more I think about it the more I'm thinking for me this is a deal breaker. I'm going to have to play on old gen or move to the java version if I want to keep it. At the moment my survival world is on my 360, and I don't plan on abandoning it for quite some time, so its not goanna effect me for now. But if old gen was getting the update too I'd decline downloading it for the forseeable future because my entire world would be broken and I'd have a lot of really expensive broken farms and contraptions that would take years to fix, if they could be fixed at all.

I realize for the majority of players this doesn't seem like a big deal, but it will likely effect anyone who moves their current world to the new version. If you have built a contraption from a tutorial then theres about a 50% chance its going to break in the new version.

Surely an advanced redstoner wouldn't need to use bugs like squasi connectivity, they should have the technical knowhow to do redstone legitimately without using exploits.

posted a message on New achievement list for better together

Has anyone heard whether the better together version will have it's own achievement list or maybe share achievments with the windows 10 edition?

Looking through my achievments for the xbox one edition earlier and realise there are achievements for the mini games that would be unobtainable in the better together update

Check this video out for features that it is missing:

Already saw that video. He's complaining about infinite worlds replacing the classic world size. Makes no sense why you would want to even create a classic world size anyway. Next he'll be complaining that there is no mob cap or he doesn't get the too many breeding animals messages any more.

Do you think they will still update Mini-Games?

Apparently not. No more updates at all once the BT is out.

Although they do say that mini games will be in the new servers

posted a message on Should PS4 get infinite world sizes?

So with the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions getting infinite world sizes and no mob caps in the better together update it proves that what 4J have been saying about infinite worlds being impossible on console has been total nonsense all along.

Even if ps4 doesn't get the better together update there is no technical reason why 4J can't get rid of mob caps and add infinite world sizes.

So does anyone think that 4J will do this now or will they come up with another excuse?

Try uninstalling the game the redownloading. Maybe the update went wrong and corrupted the game.

    Don't delete your saves though

Cuz there's Minecraft with furnaces! XD and because you can make amplified worlds and you can have maps with coordinates.

Couldn't care less about Minecarts with furnaces but I do agree with you on the other two, especially the map coordinates.

But then I would still rather have infinite worlds. So small price to pay

Why on earth would you want to keep the console edition when the new version has infinite worlds?

Constantly starting new worlds every time they have a major update to the console edition is annoying.

My favourite world on the xbox one edition doesn't even have Mesas, Granite, Diorite or any other newer blocks in the entire world due to the fact that it was created and fully explored before the new blocks and biomes were added.

Looking forward to transferring the world to the new edition so I can keep expanding it to get the new blocks

u seem like the right person to ask. I also play on ps4 but also was even a co-owner on a Pixelmon server. but I like ps4 and my world and all that so I get it!!!and my friendsher. but aside from that

can I ask to get a dummy explanation for the observer block. didn't really under stand it. is it for testing while making Redstone stuff or is it something totally different? and does really chest sorting work here?? Candy

Basically if the space in front of the observer block changes it sends a redstone signal.

I used them to make an automated sugar cane farm.

Just search youtube. There are plenty of videos with examples on what they do.

I've noticed that the sticky piston shows in the basic crafting menu. The one you get if you don't use a crafting table.

posted a message on Pistons removed from console edition?

Just updated the console edition and noticed that the pistons are missing from the crafting interface. I've looked in all catagories and they are not there.

I have checked on both the xbox 360 and xbox one version

Can anyone else using the console edition find the pistons?
