    I'm running them both fine. I had Modloader installed before Forge. Try doing it in that order. And start Minecraft between each mod install.

    Well, since we're using our own unique steamboat model and texture we're good. No one can monopolize the use of all forms of a common and widely used vehicle even if it it's past tense. It would be like someone copywriting the use of all forms of any type of car or plane. It can't happen. Sort of like how Verizon wouldn't be allowed to buy out Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Sure there are other forms of communication, but they can't be the sole cell phone service company. The concern is appreciated though. Thank you.

    I thought of some other possible names for this mod:


    FantastiCraft

    WonderCraft

    UberCraft

    MagnifiCraft

    MajestiCraft

    The If



    Granted, they aren't all great, but I thought I'd put them out there anyway. Personally I like "The If" since it obviously goes with AndOrTheIf's name, but it also can be seen as "what if" or "the possibility" and sort of has a feeling of mystery to it too. Just a thought.


    EDIT:
    I did a bit of research and found that the first three have already been used.

    Here are a couple of examples from my mod Bannercraft (link in case you want to see in game) The banners are 0 dimensional (z axis) with non mirrored images (the back side does not have a symbol)


    And another mod I am currently working on

    And a training dummy (the straw is a 0 dimention box)


    So basically don't believe what Techne shows you, its not perfect (in fact I would even recommend moddeling by hand)

    I'm working on one particular model that's giving me some grief. What I need to know is this: If I texture two sides of a flat box (ie: one of the dimentions is zero) so that the sides are not mirror images of eachother, how bad is the visual bleed through going to be in-game? Techne certainly shows a bunch. Will it be anything like that? I would put it in game and see for myself, but I am not at all savvy when it comes to that part of the process.

    It's called Techne. It's actually pretty easy to use. A bit buggy some times, but overall a must have for any modder.

    Ok, I've been working on modelling some mobs for this project and thought I'd get some images out there to see what you guys think of the direction I'm going with these. A bit of constructive criticism couldn't hurt either. Please keep in mind though that the textures were pretty much just slapped together to give some clarity to the models. Thanks.

    Well, as long as you're using version 1.9pr the mushroom biomes are there. Just keep in mind that they are extremely rare. I also think I've read that they tend to spawn in or near ocean biomes, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

    Now the other option would be if anyone has a seed with a mushroom biome at or near the spawn point...

    That would be epic. I think that they should only be associated with the new mushroom biome though, seeing as how that's where mushroom trees naturally grow. They could also be a means of spreading mushroom biomes.

    I have no idea if something like this has laready been done, and the awesomeness of this mod has resulted in way too many posts to go through to find out for sure. So feel free to flame if you wish.

    I was getting a bit frustraded with all of the fossil blocks I was passing up because of the similarity in texture with standard stone and uneven lighting. I put together a new, more visible texture that fits nicely with the whole fossil theme. Just drop it into the "Skull" folder in your minecraft.jar file. This won't be to everyone's liking, but let me know what you think.
