I'm sure it could be made, but I don't see why you need a GUI with it. It could easily just be a txt file with the mobs listed, just like the player blacklist.
You're right, a txt file would be just fine. Mainly I just wanted something that could be easily edited without having to start with a fresh minecraft.jar if you wanted to change something.
It's not a spawning blacklist, it's a pathfinding blacklist, I wish i could put more descriptive info in GUIAPI :/
Ah, okay, my bad. That's a shame! I was really wanting just zombies, but I understand. :smile.gif: It's good that you can blacklist certain mobs from having the new pathfinding, because it seems to make my wolves super retarded while it makes everything else smarter. XD Do the mob names need to be separated by commas? Also, is there any way to use it as either a whitelist or a blacklist, in case you wanted just zombies with the better pathfinding?
I've searched the forums wondering if something like this existed, but I haven't been able to find any thread that talks specifically about what I'm wanting. Hopefully I didn't just overlook something very obvious.
I'm looking for a mod that allows you to disable certain mobs from spawning, like the GUI in Mo' Creatures, but for regular mobs. I'm wanting to do a sort of zombie apocalypse thing using the Zombie Awareness mod, but I want to disable the other mobs for this. Having a GUI would be ideal because then I can just turn the mobs I don't want on and off to fit the situation.
I think this would be useful for a lot of people and I'm kind of surprised I haven't seen anything like it before. Again, if I'm just not seeing it and it's there, then please point me in the right direction and accept my apologies.
here is a usefull mod (for asthetics) http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/591757-173-blank-block-mod-wip/
i plan on using your old pumpkin texture (with the rune) on one ... and i have a really good tiger print texture as well for it, maybe it could be on your to-do list? i know theres a lot there and its fine if you don't as i can probably do some myself, but thought you might want to see it.
Oh fantastic! A use for the rune pumpkin texture! :biggrin.gif:
You'd only be able to use one side of the texture, though, as those blocks are one texture only. Still, it's a good possibility.
Sphax, I finally caved and installed the Aether because of your gorgeous textures, and while I'm loving it, I thought you should know that the enchanter GUI isn't quite lined up properly. The "cooking" animation doesn't match up with the background. If you aren't already aware, you might want to look into it. :smile.gif:
Oh wow, this looks exactly like what I've been wanting! I'm adept at installing mods, but it's tedious to have to completely start over just to remove one mod.
I wonder though, does this work with all mods, that you know of? Would this work for the Aether?
EDIT: Tested it myself. Totally works with the Aether, and you sir, are my favorite person right now.
I changed a couple of autumn flower textures from nandonalt's Seasons mod so that they fit in better with this pack for me. Here they are (for example only):
They're not perfect, but they'll do. I didn't want to bother you with changing some tiny details just for me when you've got a mountain of texture requests :smile.gif: Now to do flax!
Ooh, flax! Looking forward to that! :biggrin.gif: Please share when you finish them!
Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but how do you use a specific texture for the recipe book? I know you can change the item ID that it uses, but where would I put the new texture so it will know to recognize it?

Thank you. :smile.gif:

I'm wondering this as well.

The Aether textures are included when you download the pack.

He's working on Zipline, and I believe someone else is working on Yogbox using Sphax's textures (and with permission).

Edited the title to convey this.

I've been hearing rumors of September, but nothing specific.

Same here. I wish I knew how to fix it.

I don't either, but Sphax has made me want to. XD But I have too many mods I enjoy too much to ditch for the Aether.
Sphax, got an ETA on your zipline support? Really looking forward to that one! :3
