Thanks for that! Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for the playthrough! Can't wait to see more!

Found a bug in the many rooms section here you can use the bow and arrow from the mob cave room to shoot the wooden button in the wooden room.
This can probably be fixed by changing the wooden button for a Stone button.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm aware of that "bug", but I think I'll leave it there, as a bonus.

How do you add the music?
If you mean the soundpack, I suggest asking the creator (OrangeLouis) as I have little to no experience in making custom sounds for a resource pack.
Jul 8, 2014Posted in: MapsQuote from PeripesCan't play it I won't teleport to the house. Tried cheating and getting there by flying... There wer no items and the teleport at the reception didn't work. Paintings are pickable and are not on walls.
I also killed Sarah. What am I doing wrong?
That's odd... What version are you playing on?
Jul 6, 2014In the middle of updating the map, my Minecraft, unfortunately, crashed. :/Posted in: Maps

The Perfection Program is a GREAT first map, by Magnear. The premise is standard - complete a training program of parkour, puzzles, and combat - but there are several aspects that go above and beyond other maps of this genre. Firstly, the NPC who is leading you through the encounter is well designed - some actually humorous dialogue, not trolling you. Second, the visual detail is quite nice - I saw a few details I hadn't considered before - although I'm not a big fan of being able to see the exterior of subsequent areas from the one you're currently in. The parkour is challenging, but honestly not that long. The puzzles are on par with any of the popular maps. However, I did get aggravated at two of the combat sections - one, where there were simply too many mobs spawning and dragging my frame rate to the ground - and two, the final boss has waaaay too much health. In both cases, I feel these could fairly easily be tweaked, but if not they ARE passible if the player just fights long enough. The pacing felt good, although I'm not sure why (in this day and age) we had to use beds to set spawnpoint when the button on the wall (to make it night) could easily have done that. Overall - I really enjoyed this one!

Thanks for the review and pointing out some things I can improve on. I'll definitely put up sort of a wall around the house area. Maybe light blue stained clay? Yeah, I'll definitely be sure to lessen the amount of mobs in the 2nd last part of the map. As for the boss, I'm either gonna half it, or 3/4. I thought the click of of a button would be too quick of an 'intersection" between 2 stages.
Anyways, thanks again, and I'm happy to see my map's at least a 14. (Average)

I plan on recording this map and uploading the video later next week, if it's ok with you?
Of course! In fact, I'd really appreciate it!

this map is very nice, including very nice redstone creations, and nice designed levels, the mirror room is one that brings a new mindblowing concept, wich you need to deduce where is the invisible barriers!
the map is fun to play, not very hard, but i've need to see in the walktrought when in the room that you need to put a paper writen "Lime" in it ( i've puted all color names, about twenty diferent papers) and during the "key" room, that i thought have buged, and do not worked very well
i dont know if this only ocurried in my pc, the fps stayed fine at 60 fps, but the mobs walked ver very slowly and buged, making any battle not a challenge to mine habilities but a battle to win the lag! ( the fps stayed at 60 but the mobs do not response very quickly) i thought this is because a high amount of redstone clocks,
however, the map is fun to play thanks!
Glad you liked the redstone creations - I spent quite a bit of time thinking, "Hm... What can I add/do to make the player go, "Wow...""
Hm... If you meant the lapis area of the "dungeon-like" stage, that's kinda strange, 'cuz I'm sure it works fine. (During testing, at least.)
Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the map, thanks for playing!

For some reason the song Epic Sax Guy repeats itself over and over again at the start and it never teleports me.
Oh... That's bad. Are you possibly playing on any other version/snapshot than 14w21b?
