Netherrack stairs won't burn for the same reason slabs don't burn. As for a wiki, none of my mods are big enough to need a separate place for info. And these mods don't modify any base classes so they should be compatible with anything that is compatible with Modloader and ModloaderMP.

Perfect, thanks a lot, i was just concerned that the trees had the same growth rate whachamojobber as the trees from vMC and had to get a .class... Again Thanks lotz :happy.gif:/

Yeahhh... i was reading the OP and all and i was wondering if the netherack stairs would burn indefinitely? ... Thanks again for the great mod Sarg

PS: you should make your own wiki at sargunster, com and add the BTW sites as a addon!!

EDIT: is this mod compatible with nature overhaul? (at work i cant check .class files)

Use a RS NOR latch to control direction (it also saves some space):

Wire all "up" buttons to the left input, all "down" buttons to the right one, and the output on the bottom to the gear box.
Just add extra branches to "up" or "down" redstone lines.

i have to ask (being a redstone amateur) where did you get that picture?? it seems like a great tutorial and such, and it is really easy to understand! so if there is a link that you found that picture in i would greatly appreciate it if you could pm me with it!! =D

Program Is All Ready Built, Needs An Upgrade For The Current Minecraft Market!!

This is a mod Installer that went out of action in version 1.2_01 of minecraft. I have been talking with the creator of this third party program and he said that it was all right if i posted his program in these forums.

He has released the source code and all the libraries that need to be associated with the program (it also needs MC Patcher) this was a great program and i am hoping that it will be picked up by a programmer that knows his/her stuff!! I will add a link to the original post and the link to the website that was made for the program!

One of the great things about this program is that it is compatible with 32 Bit AND 64 bit For Mac, Linux AND Windows!! Wow talk about a broad spectrum of compatibility!

This is what the author has said about his program:

Unfortunately my large workload and addiction to haxball has caused me to neglect Minecrafter. It never really reached the level of ease I wanted, but rather than let it die, I’m releasing the source code for someone to pick up and hopefully improve it by leaps and bounds.

Warning: There are no unit tests and a lot of business logic and view code mixed together! Programmer beware!

    Download links:

    http://www.multiupload.com/ZO9C1R6NAV

    Setup
Unfortunately for you, I’ve only packaged the source. You’ll still need to link up the various libraries and projects required to build the program. Here are a list of libaries you’ll need:

Once you have the libraries plugged in, you’ll need to get theMCPatcher project running as well. You’ll need to modify the code to allow MCPatcher to act as a library. Replace MinecraftPatcher.java with the copy inside the Minecrafter source folder. You can remove the RARTexturePack classes from MCPatcher, as we use our own implementation. You might need to fix a few errors that show up when replacing MinecraftPatcher.java, but they’re simple to do.

    That’s it!

The Programs Intent was to make modding made easy, i was hoping that there is a programmer out there that would like to help build on this vision, to see how easy the program was to use you can check it up on his site!

This Is What Prelithe Said On His OP In The Third Party Programs Part Of The Forums:

Minecrafter is a mod manager with a twist. Instead of providing simple merging tools, Minecrafter allows you to ‘craft’ your own mods by mixing and matching other people’s mods. By downloading mods that you like, you can load them up into the program, select the graphics you want, and start up Minecraft straight from the program, all without touching JARs or graphics programs.
Minecrafter is designed with 2 major features in mind:

    Mix and Match

Although Minecrafter can be used as a simple mod loader (i.e. using one mod at a time), what Minecrafter does best is allowing you to pick elements from mods you enjoy from each, and getting them to work without having to deal with JAR repackaging and graphics editing tools. Not only can you pick individual files (thats easy), you can pick individual blocks from terrain.png & items.png.
Mixing mods together is not tied to just images. Any mod can be used that replaces files in the main JAR, as long as the file structure of the mod zip is mapped to the file structure of the JAR.
All the mods and files you’ve chosen will be saved as a “mod package”. This mod package will contain all the mods you’ve used, as well as the selections you’ve made. So if you believe you’ve got a great mash up, you can distribute your mod package so others can use your creation.

    Non-destructive

By either building a complex mish-mash of mods, or just loading one, you can use the Minecrafter launcher to automatically build the JAR for you, and restore the JAR back to its original state after playing. Basically when you select a mod package to play, Minecrafter will launch Minecraft for you and monitor when it exits. Once you’ve finished playing, it will restore the backed up minecraft.jar. So even if you stop using the program, your Minecraft data folder remains how you left it before you started using this program.
As per the last feature (“Mix and Match”), mod packages themselves are non-destructive. Any mods you’ve selected to be combined into a mod package are left untouched. So if you ever used a mod, and can’t remember who made it, you could always view the readme.txt still inside the zip.

    Enjoy!

Here Are Some Screen Shots To Really See How Easy It Was:

    This Is The Start-Up Screen

Here Is The File Override Selection Screen (choose importance of mods over one annother)

Here Is The Base File Chooser

This Is The Item Texture Selector (you can mix and match from different texture packs! also you can choose individual items!)

Here Is The Texture chooser (you can choose specific blocks)

You Can Save Several Different "Custom Mod Packs"

It Is Fully Custimizable For Mods And Texturepacks (works like the MC-Patcher does)

SHOW SUPPORT FOR THIS PROGRAM, LINK THIS TOPIC IN YOUR SIG!!
