Minecraft isnt an rpg. it would REALLY slow down gameplay and kinda be lame. it would take the fun out of combat and such.

I love the way minecraft is heading
- most of the enchantments are very helpful
- i have yet to try potion brewing because i dislike traveling to the nether ( but i bet there awesome)
- im not the biggest fan of the terrain generation at the moment :sad.gif:
- i like all the mobs except for those damned cave spiders :dry.gif:
- the new mob AI being added will bring back that feeling of being constantly scared of getting creeped (let's face it. it was getting way to easy to survive)
- To people who say the end is "Pointless" and "Stupid". its completely optional!! And it's good for A LOT of experiance.
- and for the people who say "The games is getting old. It's to easy" or "MINECRAFT SUKS NOW!!"
just go play Skyrim or something or downgrade it

Well, due to the fact you appear to know English fairly well, I am going to assume your bad typing is simply awful grammar. Regardless, no I do not think Herobrine should be added to the game. There are plenty of young players out there who would quit the game the first time he showed up. I personally think he could be interesting, but I wouldn't really want him in my game.

I've noticed a lot of people directing others to that search bar on the top-right of your screen. Well, I have one thing to say to that: KNOCK IT OFF!

That search function leads me to many other posts and/or topics not even close to what I'm looking for. Type in a favorite mod, and chances are there will be a page worth of other topics which mentions that mod. It is even a lot harder when you're search for topics either you commented in or have started because, unless someone quoted you, you're going to be searching a long time.

My solution: Links. Please link others to the EXACT post. I do this and it is very helpful. Stop directing people to that stupid search bar until it's fixed, please.

Great storytelling! A few typos here and there, but you described the action vividly, the twist was nice, and i lke how you thought about it in terms of life and death. The fact that you did this on a real seed sealed the deal. +1rep.

Adventures in DEATH!

My Journal Of How I Visited DEATH, And Lived!

Day 1: Re-Forestation

It was time. I was going to try out a seed I had heard about. A seed called DEATH. My palms were sweaty. My hand was convulsing. I felt nautious. I quickly created my world, which I named "DEATH", and typed in the forbiden seed... I spawned. On an island. Without any trees at all. I was screwed.... unless. I had one chance. Only one. I was going to escape. I began swimming. I swam as hard as I could, for as long as I could, but nothing. Night fell. I stopped, and viewed the surroundings. Amazing. There were what looked like underwater mountains. I could imagine that this place used to be a hilly plain until a flood came. I suddenly saw something underwater. A mirage? Herobrine? Wha was it? I dove to explore, and found nothing. Must have been the Moon's reflection. Thats when the pain started. "Oomph' said my character. I was dying. I desperatly swam upwards, but it was too late. My fate was sealed. I respawned on my island, now covered with monsters.

Night 1: My Creeper Angel

A creeper exploded. Scratch that, 3 exploded. Then I respawned and more came. It was explosion after explosion. It also was a miracle. I was getting blocks. Dirt, Cobble, I even recieved some gunpowder and string! Sure I died, but the deaths did nothing because I would die where I respawned, and I would pick everything up again. After I had a decent amount of loot, I camped out in a dirt shack until morning.

Day 2: A New Hope

Sure, I would have no use for the cobble, the gunpowder, or the string without a workbench or sticks, but it got me thinking. Minecraft. Mining and Crafting. To mine you need tools, for tools you need sticks. For sticks you need wood. For wood you need trees. Crafting. For crafting you need a crafting bench, which leads back to the trees. Without trees, what is Minecraft? Building. You aspire to build, and make the most of the land. That is what I was going to do! I began constructing my dirt pagoda imidiatly. It was humble, but it used all my resources, and I was proud. I had shown death, and DEATH that even when they gave me trouble, I was resilient, and still came out strong.

Night 2: The Test

I had completed my mission. I could have quit there. I didn't. I had one final test for DEATH: could my pagoda keep me safe during the night? I decided to test it out. Really, the result would mean nothing. What was the point of living? Also, it would mean everything. Could my one accomplishment on this baren island hold up against the terrors of the night? I was about to find out. This was it. The final showdown between me and DEATH. Could my intresting no-wood playstyle overcome the challenge? The night started off quiet. TOO quiet. I checked my difficulty settings. Easy. Easy was not good enough, I wanted DEATH to have a fighting chance. I changed it to Hard. Still, it seemed peaceful. Thats when I realised the monsters wouldn't spawn near enough to me to touch me! If I stayed in the Pagoda, I would be invincible! Call it suicidal, but I realized what I needed to do: Open the roof. First, I put a whole at the top. A second later, a zombie fell down to me. I beat it to death. Then... nothing. I opened up the roof 2 blocks more. Nothing. 4 Blocks more... NOTHING! I suddenly felt arrows piercing my bare body, and looked up to see a skelly, shooting me from one of the last remaining blocks of roof of my pagoda. Now, I'm sure you are wondering, "How the hell did the zombie and the skeleton get on your roof?". Simple! I built my pagoda in a creeper crater, the roof was level to the ground. Anyways, the skelly was killing my slowly, so I ran around in circles, hoping to make him miss. I didn't have to keep this up for long, because just then, the sun broke the horizon and I was saved. Victory!

Day 3: DEATH's Trick

I hopped out of the remains of my pagoda, and surveiled the scene. I HAD WON! "Really Sssssteve, you sssilly ssssssucker! DEATH never losssseeeesss! We, the creeperssss sssshall ssssuceed!" Oh god. BOOM! I had one heart left, and five more creepers were running after me. I went commando, and killed them all with my bare hands. It was awesome. Then, I took the gunpowder, threw it on the ground in a big pile, made a pillar of dirt, and jumped on the "ashes" of DEATH. I did not sustain any fall damage. i had survived. Unfortunatly, fate is cruel. Very, very cruel. I had not eaten anything in days, and suddenly, without warning, hunger took my life. At least DEATH didn't get me. What got me was LIFE, and I returned to the soil, to norish what I hope in the future to become a tree. A tree of life.

The End

PS: I went to the same island in Creative Mode. I planted a tree.

Well at least now we know who the drug addicts will be.
