[MCO Availability Checker #1/ERROR]: Couldn't connect to realms
That seems to be like your issue right there. Though it seems like the realms service is up and running, I would contact Mojang support. If you could, please post the full server log so we can see if there are any other issues that may be related.
I assume this is about the puzzle, Better Together and not the Minecraft update. If you're running it on a server, shouldn't it be just as easy as deleting the world_nether folder (or whatever it's called). As previously stated, the nether is indeed infinite, and you should have no problem.
Before I begin, I would like to mention I could talk in the server chat before installing the following plugins/mods
Mods-
*MyTown
*MyTownLib
*PermissionsEx (I know this is a plugin, but the MyTown mod author said to put it in the mods folder. Loads up and generates config just fine, though)
Plugins-
*Essentials for 1.6.4
*EssentialsChat for 1.6.4
Here's the log for when I try to type and chat, then get "End of Stream". And by crash, I simply mean getting kicked out of the server and back into the Multiplayer screen. Commands work fine.
*I notice at the top it says it can't reach a specific FoodPlus file. This was not an issue before, and I was still able to type in chat
*I tried disabling my firewall
*Commands work fine, as stated above
If you believe this is a plugin issue (say, Essentials), then I will be more than happy to try your solution. Just please include a direct download link to the jarfile!
Thanks for your help.
EDIT-
Seems like MyTown and it's dependency were causing the issue. No way to fix it, as I was on the latest version and the mod is no longer being developed. I decided to use an old version of GriefPrevention to assist with this. Everything works fine now.
I'm no lawyer, but I do not believe that's a trademark violation. If it is, it would likely be classified as a frivolous lawsuit (if they were to sue) and it wouldn't even go to court. If there is one thing I know about law, it's that a lawsuit can actually be denied, even if it is valid, for being just utter nonsense and stupid. Also, the full name of the company is "Minecraft Consulting PTY LTD". The company is registered as an LTD, and this Minecraft is owned by Mojang. So if they were to sue for a trademark violation, well, they really couldn't I suppose. Here's the company's registration ACN if anyone wants to do further research, ACN 064 974 965
Sorry to hear your account has been compromised. From my perspective, you may have signed up for a minecraft-related website and entered the same credentials as your minecraft account, and then that site's database got compromised and therefore your information was compromised as well. If this is not the case, then I'd just say you're simply unlucky. It's a possibility if you gave your password and email to a friend or something and they sold the account, maybe you have a keylogger or RAT on your computer (therefore, I would download Malwarebytes or Bitdefender and do a full, complete scan on your hard drive). If I were you, I would refer to the following article,
If you paid using PayPal and still have the transaction ID, then you my friend, are golden. You will get your account recovered. If this is not the case, Mojang will likely ask for the first password you used, the former security questions, and the email you signed up with to verify ownership. I bid you good luck!
Currently, I have a domain. This domain is "shieldcloud.us". My server's IP is 167.114.64.203 and the port is 25574. I don't want the players to connect with that ugly port at the end, so I set up a SRV record like so:
Ignore the "URL Redirect Record". That's for Buycraft (as you can see). Everything works perfectly fine, I can connect to my server using just "shieldcloud.us". But now I want my players to connect using "play.shieldcloud.us". I did the exact same process, but except for "@" in my A record for the host, I put "play". For "Target", instead of "shieldcloud.us", I put "play.shieldcloud.us", like so:
Do pay attention to the records in the red boxes. Outside of the red boxes is what should be ignored. When I try to connect to the server using "play.shieldcloud.us", I get "Can't connect to server". I used ping and nslookup in my command prompt, and everything looks correct.
I have waited 24 hours for everything to propagate. I'm clueless at this point. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Considering Minecraft has been only around for not even 10 years, that's a little hard to believe. I'll take my leave.

Fixed. I had to use Cloudflare to make it work. After I made the switch, it worked perfectly. Must be an issue on Namecheap's end.

Tried that already. When I click "save" it reverts back to just "_tcp"
