Generally if you think something looks good you'll probably like it to some extent.

What don't you like about it? Why not a reason why it seems useless? It doesn't seem to remove any features or even add any major features, it just adds more custom villagers so they aren't the same skins over and over again, it serves as much use as skins in Minecraft, not a huge feature but it can add a relatively large amount immersion to a game of blocks.

    It's clearly racist.

My favorite fallacy: the suggestion looks good, therefore it must be good

No support, this seems rather useless to me.

Horrible server, I won't recommend it. The staff are terrible, builders will ban you for no reason and the players are jerks.

Yeah I hate this server. I can't believe we got banned for "DDOSing" the server didn't even crash just got a little lag they shouldn't have banned us...

One would think, but it would actually increase the number of IDs to be created.

All half-blocks are the same ID sharing a different damage value. All blocks are considered to be a whole entity regardless of structure in terms of chunk loading. If you place a wooden half-block on top of another, both are destroyed and the location is filled with a wood block. Same goes with stone halves, cobble halves, insert your favorite.

To make this work properly, you would need a multitude of new block types. woodbase-cobbletop,woodbase-stonetop,woodbase-bricktop,woodbase-stonebricktop,woodbase-stonetop... That's just for wood bases. For every new type of half-block that's introduced, you are introducing a scalar odd number more types. (going from 5 half blocks to 6 means 6^2-5^2 or 9 more combinations)

Because of those dire values, I say it's better to use a more efficient and compact system (8th blocks provides this).

So add the new ID's. One for each possible combination of slab. I see no problem.

That kind of stuff has no place in vanilla and is strictly for mods, like for example the Millenarie mod. NPC villagers are peaceful, end of story.

Only a sith deals in absolutes.

What's the problem with breaking the status quo? Is there some written rule that says NPC villages must be peaceful? I think experimenting a little bit is healthy for the future of the game, and some hostile villagers could spice up the game. We don't need more of the same.

Do you realize how ridiculously overpowered this thing is?

Overpowered as in the worm is too powerful, or it is too easy, therefore overpowered for its drops/xp?

Nope, check post #7 - OP definitely suggested making kicks better than punches with no drawback.

#1 same as a punch, half a heart

#4 it goes slightly faster then your fist

I read this as the animation going slightly faster, that is the kick itself appears to be faster, not the interval at which you can use the attack, if that makes any sense.

I don't think whether other games do or do not do something should be a factor.

Nah, just have normal NPC villages (for Icy Plains biomes, not all cold biomes) except the building use Spruce instead of Oak.

This is basically what I was saying, why are you against them being hostile?

The only way I would support it is like this:

When you make an unarmed attack, if the enemy is lower than you, then you make a kick instead of a punch.

    Purely cosmetic.

This is probably what OP meant and couldn't put into words.
