Same issue here. I have migrated my Minecraft account to my Mojang.com account, it's all worked fine until today. I can login perfectly fine on mojang.com, but it gives me a "login failed" error on the client, and on minecraft.net it says invalid username/password.
Hi! I have taken the 64x64 version of this texture pack and made it so it works with 1.4.7 (Meaning no invisible textures for new items) I was wondering if I was allowed to post a link in this thread? The owner of this texture pack has not been active since November 6th 2012. I will not post it in a new thread, I will edit this post and put the link here. All I did was copy over the new 1.4 textures in 64x64 form.
Alright so I got on my brothers Linux computer, (Also Ubuntu, but it's 12.10 AMD64) and his worked fine. So I am going to reinstall and upgrade to 12.10, and then I'll let you guys know if it fixes it.
Hello! I have been having a problem with my Minecraft on linux. I had 32 bit, and it worked fine. But then I reinstalled and switched to 64bit. At first, when I launched Minecraft, it would just be a black screen. I did some research and was told to manually update my LWJGL libraries. I did this, and it fixed the crash issue and worked perfectly. But now, suddenly, I don't have any sound. I have tried reinstalling Minecraft and the LWJGL libraries and it still did not fix the problem. I also tried downgrading my LWJGL Libraries to 2.7.1 (currently using 2.8.4) but still no sound. I am currently using the webupd8team repository for Java 7 64 bit. My Minecraft log doesn't give any errors, but here it is for people to look over.

Hello, I'm new to these forums. I started hosting a server for my cousin and my brother, and everything worked fine with mobs and animals and everything enabled. But then the beta update came along.. Now I can start a server with mobs/animals enabled fine.. Until someone joins. Then my internet begins to lag like crazy. It worked fine before, is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm using the MC Admin server tool. I've tried using the default server tool also, no change. I've also tried changing the allocated memory and process priority, but to no avail. My computer specs are:
