    posted a message on All Server Data Disappears...

    I've only had this problem for a couple weeks but all of my server data on my game has been disappearing. It first happened a while ago when I logged on and it was gone. I ended up making a minecraft forum post that didn't end up getting any replies. The weird thing about it is it deleted all server data such as icons, names, and IPs but it never deletes the server on the top of my list (of 50<) which is the official skyblock server by the original creator(s) of skyblock. After having it happen recently (an hour ago) I now have more information on the subject.

    Strange Behavior:

    When it happened again today it started with my computer crashing twice (blue screen that says something has gone wrong (the one where you don't lose all memory on your computer)) both times seem to have been caused by minecraft itself. The first time, I had minecraft open for a while and when I went afk on a server for over an hour I came back to a frozen game. Unable to quit, I simply pressed the 'x' button in the top right corner of the window and my computer crashed. The second time, I had been playing for a while and when I decided to take a break and went to hit the 'quit' button on the main menu (I was able to exit the server no problem) the game froze for about a second and the computer crashed once more. Once I finally came back I found that once again all my server data (besides the skyblock server) had been deleted.


    I am not using an official Minecraft client instead I have been using the SquidHQ launcher which only bypasses the EULA agreement in order to access blacklisted servers. As far as the client itself it is vanilla and there is no mods gameplay or aesthetic mods that come with the launcher.

    File: When I asked someone if they new how to fix the problem, they asked me to find a folder that was called server.dat which did/does not exist

    Does anyone know how to prevent this problem or how to possibly get my servers back? Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

    Help! I can't join any of my vast list of minecraft servers!

    Only one server displays a server image (though I know that many more have them)

    All servers display "Cannot connect to server" with an "x" over the connection bar

    When I try to join any server it displays the message "io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information:"

    The one server that did work (until I restarted my game) was the Skyblock server (IP: skyblock.net)

    I have tried restarting my game, removing any corrupt files, restarting my computer and using different launchers (vanilla minecraft and squidHQ)

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Edit: I found out the problem was that I no longer have any IP on my server list (besides on skyblock for some reason). If anyone can tell me why this happened, how to fix it, or how to prevent it I would appreciate that as well.

    I tried this out but none of what you suggested has worked for me. To be clear, nothing with square brackets or an equals sign ('[', ']', '=') has worked. I really don't know what will work as XpLevel has to be on an exact level to work and to prevent people accidentally going over I would have to make multiple command blocks.

    I am trying to create a system that converts any xp levels received into health points but none of the 'testfor' commands have worked.

    I've tried these in order and received the following error messages (<value> I usually had set to 1 but tampered with other numbers to no avail):

    /testfor @p[l=<value>,lm=<value>] Entity '@p[l=<value>,lm=<value>]' cannot be found

    /testfor @p [l=<value>,lm=<value>] Data tag parsing failed: Expected '{' but got '[' at: [<--[HERE]

    /testfor @p {l=<value>,lm=<value>} Data tag parsing failed: Expected ':' but got '=' at: {l=<--[HERE]

    /testfor @p {l:<value>,lm:<value>} <Playername> did not match the required data structure (NOTE: This occurs even when I have the exact EXP level)

    /testfor @p {XpLevel:<value>} <Playername> did not match the required data structure (NOTE: This only occurs when I don't have the exact EXP level)

    I want some sort of command that will detect any amount of a player's XP over 1 level (or preferably 1 point).

    Just be happy with the ones you've got.
    Of course we don't NEED these versions but we don't have all of them which means some of us wont be satisfied I personally think we should have every version that has been created so people can play around and see how the game came for a flat land with tunnels to a huge game with practically infinite terrain and hundreds of items.

    I could understand that but sometimes the effects would just be a hassle.

    I think is is cause from the block detection are being too close to the blocks that the player will be landing on.

    Ghast Ball

    I never found this bug, but Ill try to find out what causes it[/b] : I think the bug is caused because the ghast spawns at the same time as the fire ball and you have just enough reach to hit the fireball back at the ghast damaging it right before it gets the resistance effect so you don't have to land the fireball on the ground.

    What was the Problem? Too small, or too big?[/b] : The size of the arena is a bit too small and it is hard to get you fireball past the ghast.

    Sadly it is very very very hard to detect who should actually get the Point :([/b] : I think increasing the size of the arena will help this problem too.

    Also one thing i forgot to mention is that there is no saturation effect on the player so eventually you will starve to death.

    Info: Zombie Spleef is a small minigame. Once you start you appear in a 'Ghost Arena', that means that you can't see the whole floor. You can only see the blocks you are standing on. You can only break the blocks that you can actually see, this makes it a lot harder to fight the zombie, who is your opponent. The zombie is a lot more intelligent than a normal zombie. It will follow you and break blocks. If the zombie is in danger he will perform a jump. This means the zombie can play spleef pretty well, but you should normally still be better. After finishing a game your health and the arena will be restored, you will get extinguished, and new zombie will be spawned and once he targets you the minigame will restart.

Infected by a always deadly ending disease you have to find 16 wool blocks to activate an ancient monument, which, as legend tells, can cure any disease. After stealing the first wool blocks with help from the Scientist and the blacksmith, you get caught by the police. After being brought to court, you get convicted to death. Being insulted by everyone - "I hate you", "Murderer", ... - you get thrown into the city's well, so that you drown. To find out what happens after that you have to play the map.

    Info:Custom Boss Collection is a one of it's kind Boss Collection map. It features tons of different bossfights. It uses Custom textures, 3d models and even Voice acting. Some bosses have royalty free music instead of voice acting. This map not only has most of my bosses from other maps, but also tons of new ones, partly created for Minecraft Forum users. Not only has this map tons of options, because of the bosses, but it also has tons of different Equipment options, choose one item, each, from different categories, e.g. bows, shields, weapons, ..., or use a special 'Boss'-Armor that gives you a special abilitie using your mana.     Info: McTsts' Tower Defense is a one of it's kind Tower Defense map. It has multiple waves, seven placeable towers (including Ender, Support, Witch and Sheep Tower), Upgrades for six of the towers (There is no max level) and several traps. The health of the enemies (including zombies, skeletons and more) is displayed with their helmet color (extremedark red,dark red, red, dark orange, orange, ..., slightly dark green, dark green and finally blue). The towers have to different ways of attacking, first: Aura, which hits all enemies in a specific range and second: Beam, which only hits one enemie. The map currently has two arena with different difficulties (Nether & Plain). While Plain is a peaceful (until the enemies come...) area, Nether is inside a Nether castle thingy and even has a evil regeneration tower that can't be removed.

    Info: Blaze Spleef is a small minigame. Once you start it you'll appear, together with a blaze, that can't change it's height, in a arena, which's floor is tnt. A fireball, from the blaze, will ignite the tnt under it, thus removing the floor. If you kill the blaze you win, if you fall into the lava, below the tnt you lose. Whilst fighting, the floor of the arena slowly regenerates. As soon as the game ends you get extinguished and healed. The arena gets restored, and a new blaze spawns, then the minigame restarts.

    Info: 25³ (Custom) Boss Collection is a small version of Custom Boss Collection. Because it was created in 25x25x25 blocks it lacks several features of CBC, but it also works better than CBC, because it wasn't made in a older version of Minecraft and then updated. 25³CBC includes a nice and better Equipment system that has less options than CBC and lacks the 'Boss'-Equipment. 25³CBC has 7 bossfights, including the ported Demon Warrior (from 25³ Thunderstorm), two bosses from CBC (Mushroom Boss & Quad, two of the first bosses) and a easier version of Emotionless (CBC). As CBC, 25³CBC also has a Custom Mob Challenge, where you have to fight against a few Player-Zombies. Altough the room the map was built in was small, it still has eight different Arenas.

    OK, I finished Ghast Ball and it was really fun! The only things that weren't "really fun" was :
    - the size of the arena
    - the glitch that gives the wrong side a point
    - the glitch I found (damages the ghast within the first second of the serve and causes you to get a point) (I also have included a screenshot of the glitch)
