    posted a message on OptiFine not limiting FPS to my screens max rate with Vsync

    Im currently playing the skyfactory 3 modpack and i've added optifine. I've had some screen tearing effects which I fixed by turning the slider of max framerate down to VSync. The Problem is that Vsync didnt limit the fps rate to my screens max rate (60fps) which I thought it did as well. now my PC gets very loud as it unnecessarily gets to 300fps. What could I do to fix this?

    posted a message on [FTB Beyond] weird noise in caves

    I have seen posts like this one but none was about ftb beyond. I was in a cave in ftb beyond and I heard a very creepy noise. Sorry, I cant really explain how it sounded. I already tested the sounds of most of the mobs and no, im pretty sure it wasnt a blizz, a blitz or a basalz. I also heard one of minecrafts cave sounds shortly after the creepy noise occured although I have ambient/environment turned off.

    Any idea what this sound could have been? I get creeped out pretty easily when playing games myself so I was pretty scared :D

    Normally, you can hit O to hide and reveal NEI. Also, if you are missing some mods in RR (which I don't understand, it's a huge pack :D) then add them.

    I once created a modpack and I also had game freezes. I found out it happened everytime my RAM was 100% used. So if you have game freezes, I would suggest allocating more RAM (I hope you know how to do this). Also, these are modpacks that shouldn't be very hard to run: Galactic Science (Curse/Ftb Launcher); Bytesize (ATlauncher); Space Astronomy (Curse/Ftb Launcher). I hope I could help you and sorry if my english is bad, my native language isn't english.

    posted a message on what happens if you put a mod in your public modpack without having the permissions for the mod?

    I'm currently creating a modpack. It's my first one and I don't want that something bad happens when I accidently put a mod in it without permissions. what I mean with "not having permissions" is that the mod author wants something from you for being allowed to use the mod and you don't fulfill that request. I'm uploading the pack on the techinic launcher and I don't want that something bad happens when I accidently don't . I hope this thread made sense. Can someone tell me what could happen when I don't have the pemissions for a mod?

    Your mod is so cool and I would really like to put it in a modpack but I haven't found out anything about modpack permissions. Am I allowed to use the mod and what do I have to pay attention to?
