With quarantine and all, I have actually started working on a revival version for 1.15.2!!!!
It should be done within the next few weeks, I am working on new textures, better block naming system, and some more! Stay tuned because I am very proud to put this out again!!!
Tiny City Pack (TCP) is a resource pack that allows you to build small block sized cities using specially textured blocks that look like real life buildings!
The possibilities are endless!
This is the first ever spin-off pack ever created for TCP, the Winter Wonderland set!
With this, you can build a snowy Winter/Christmas tiny city!
And also to rename files, i just went into the "lang" file and edited the notepad file in it with notepad++ and searched up names of blocks and just changed the names (in case that helps)
Alright, I've been trying things all night to fix my problem and nothing has worked. I've looked through the bug report you gave me and I don't think they had the same problem I had. The thing is, my resource pack is certainly playable on any version of the game, but it says its not compatible for 1.11 even though it works perfectly fine.
I am able to change the default language for the game and it actually works, I downloaded a default resource pack (like a base pack that just has default minecraft textures) a while back so I could just retexture what I needed and use everything else as the default. It came with a pack.mcmeta and I just edited that one to put in what I needed. This pack.mcmeta though looks different from a lot of peoples, It is full of a bunch of words and code that dont really seem necessary, I will give you a download link so that you can see for yourself, http://www.mediafire.com/file/v6jqyxvuyntrwfs/mcmeta.zip
So I have a resource pack and a lot of the blocks are renamed. So when I go onto Minecraft 1.11, it says its "incompatible" with the current version. To fix this, I go to the pack.mcmeta in the zip file and I change the "pack format" from 2 to 3 (I had already changed it from 1 to 2 a while back to update it). Although this fixed the "out of date" thing, I go into the game and none of the blocks that I renamed are the correct name, they all went back to their default names. I've been working for a long time now to fix this but nothing seems to work, does anyone please know whats up???? Thanks!
Also, my resource pack is caled "Tiny City Pack" so you know what were dealing with here.
Hello everyone! just putting this out there to notify the implementation of the new donation link in case you ever wanted to give me money! Always VERY much appreciated!!! Also I'm working on a new Holiday/Winter themed pack as the first ever expansion pack for TCP. Thanks and enjoy the Holdidays!
NEW UPDATE!!! Because of the Olympics in Rio, I decided to put a few sport textures into the pack! Also I added a few new buildings to spruce up your cities! And finally I added the possibility for amusement parks! Enjoy!
Report on the connected textures: I broke them. I just switched from glass to stone. I haven't seen something that broken, so I'm working on the towers instead. And yes, you will probably remove a bunch of textures.
Alright, you don't have to use CTM on the roads since people seem to be contempt with the current system. But I really do appreciate your effort! And thank you so much for devoting time to make my resource pack better!
Those farms are really gonna be useful in the outskirts of my city. and whos this that has moved in?
EDIT: Added map of my city
Haha that shrinking mod has always been an idea since I started this. Also sorry I've not been able to update it recently, I've had lots to do and I've not found time for TCP, but I will try and get it out before February ends. So far I've been really happy with the farms as well as the other things I've added like dirt roads and a billboard. It is a lot more time consuming than I expected.
And also one more additional comment, I will be updating the pack most likely later today. The update will contain stuff like agricultural fields, dirt roads, and airport, and some more commercial buildings. It's looking good at the moment, heres some pics of some stuff.
Oh my goodness, that looks awesome dude! I was hoping someone would step up and do this. So how are we going to work this out? Like I will certainly give you credit, also what about the block names and everything? Am I going to have to remove a bunch of textures?
EDIT: I've also noticed that the grass is the default texture, are you using an old version?
Ah ok, yeah I'm gonna have to take them out, but once again I'm very happy to see people like you are showing off your creations! Your city is coming along well!

My resource pack is very unusual, it only needs certain blocks to be retextured and it MUST have renamed blocks or else it would be very confusing, I will link that here too http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/2209286-tiny-city-pack-v1-6-build-a-miniature-city-5-000
very strange issue this is...
