Is there a way to disable the acid blood? I'm using this mod with Galacticraft and it doesn't make survival easier when the xenomorphs keep making holes in a build that's supposed to be airtight sealed.
There seems to be a problem with the 1.12.2 Zombie Pack in that the 3D melee weapons don't affect mobs at all. No damage. It's as if it just performs the animation and nothing else. Is there a fix for this?
Yeah, this has probably been discussed before, I'd imagine about a thousand times or so because it sounds like such a basic idea that would actually work, but it begs the question: WHY IS THERE NO FURNITURE IN MINECRAFT?
Why do I have to install a mod to put basic furniture in my house? Just add some chairs and tables so we can finally cut out the middle-man. It's like a joke that they haven't added chairs to minecraft, kind of like how they say they removed Herobrine on every update.
Designs for furniture don't have to be complicated, maybe you can add upholstery with wool or something, but it would be nice to have something to sit on while I step away from the game to go do something, or when I have visitors on multiplayer. Also, maybe adding plates to put food on?
It's just an idea. I know this doesn't sound like some big exciting feature, but it definitely would be a nice and welcome addition. Cauldrons are 90% useless but I don't mind having one in my house just because it looks nice. Same goes for flowerpots.
Okay, I don't want to be rude, just gonna give some fair, healthy criticism here - the new models for your DOOM-esque mobs is... ugly, and not in a good monster way. The original models were actually much better.
In particular, the Behemoth just looks wierd. Its head looks rather bulbous and off-putting. it looks more goofy than intimidating now. In some ways it is a bit of an improvement over your original (a more brawny design in the torso, more defined features, etc.), but given minecraft's general style of animation for things, this appearance just doesn't look that good.
The Belph's appearance isn't that bad, but personally, i liked its original appearance, as it felt more... minecrafty.
The Pinky, however looks pretty sweet, and the rounding isn't as detrimental for its appearance as it is for the other two. May i suggest making it look a little more muscular, and not putting so much emphasis on a smooth appearance? It's not that bad, but the Pinky looks too bulky to me.
it's not my place to tell you how to design your mobs, and trying to tell you how is absolutely not my intent, but this new "rounding" for their models is kind of wierd to look at. Just food for thought. The new designs are ambitious and show quite some effort, but I just don't feel like they suit Minecraft's graphics and animation very well.
Someday I'd actually like to make a mish-mash server when I get a more powerful PC. I'd include this mod along with Techguns, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, etc. and create a type of sci-fi action server.
For my example: I'm using Thermal Expansion's Fluiducts or Ender I/O's fluid pipes....
If your reaction chamber is just for only one kind process (Such as making Enriched Uranium), Use Thermal Expansion's Fluiducts...
If you has more different fluids wants to process, Use Ender I/O's fluid pipes (It can transfer different fluids in one pipe without blockage each other)....
I tried Thermal Expansion, but it makes my game lag a little. I tried Immersive Engineering instead. It seems to work just as well. Thanks for the reply!
I'm not insulting the creator or anything. Lycanite's Mobs is one of the best mob-based mods I've seen in the Minecraft Community - the creatures it introduces are incredible and make Minecraft much funner to play. But the only downside is that the extremely high content makes the mod difficult to use with others. It's a full package, over 60000kb of data deal with, and it's really taxing.
Thanks for the information, I know this reply is a little late. However, the reason why I want to alter the mod content is because I think the data is a little too much on my PC. I'm using LM with several other mods, including Techguns, but I think the data is just too much and it makes the game lag. I really want to keep this mod active, and I have to admit many of the mobs introduced are pretty cool, but I want to know if there is a way to manually reduce the content to keep it from overloading the game. I noticed that when I installed the mod, my mods overall went from 18 to 29, and I theorize that Lycanite's Mobs is actually a collection of separate mini-mods, each including different mob sets. I'm not the creator so I'm not sure
This is, without a doubt, one of the best mods I have seen on Minecraft. There's tons of gun mods out there for minecraft these days, and for a while, Flan's mod was my go-to mod for that. However, Techguns has entirely replaced it. It's far more interesting, way less glitchy, and the content just really beefs up the game. The detail put into the weapons along with the amazing graphics keeps up with the minecraft feel, and it introduces both a new thrill and a new challenge to the game. You get guns, buildings to find them, neat ways to build them, different enemies to shoot at, and that's only the beginning. When combined with other mods such as Lycanite's Mobs or Ice and Fire, it completely overhauls things and introduces a brave new experience for players.
I'm looking forward to the 1.13 version and beyond. Can't wait to see what else comes up with the next update. My compliments to the programmer - amazing job!

Were Fantasy Blocks removed at some point? I'm using 1.12.2 version and can't find them at all.

Whoa, hell yeah. Definitely scarier.

Is there a way to create custom monster holes, as in making ones that spawn specific mobs?

I'm hoping we'll be able to see a 1.14 version soon. Sadly the creator hasn't mentioned anything about it from my knowledge.

Everytime I start minecraft with the 1.12.2 version of this mod, it crashes. Even when it's the only mod I'm using.
FIXED: Turns out I had to reload the config.

What's the best mod for supplying fluid to the reaction chamber?
