You sir might just be in luck, I have some VERY old versions hosted here:

    http://code.google.c...e DownloadCount

I think the last of that series MIGHT support 1.5_01, but it's iffy. I didn't really record what went with what. Try different versions and see!

Per, earlier today i renovated my house by breeding a donkey with 13 hearts, a mule with 13 hearts and a saddle, and iron horse armor on my good horse, i also put down 2 hay bales and stashed many goodies including 44 diamonds away in my chest, i went mining for a few hours and when i came back my house was back to the way it was before any of that happened and i was missing all of those goodies and my mule, donkey, (each had chests), and my saddle and iron horse armor help!

Hello. Could you pm me a list of what you lost, grand total style? I'll reimburse you and make sure whatever this was, it does NOT happen again.

    INTRO

Welcome to GolemLand, brave miner. We are a nearly 2 year old server that is whitelisted (been running since pretty much 1.0) and we've had people come and go... We're now looking for more people to come to our server, and if you want to be part of a diverse, friendly vanilla community, you've come to the right place. We are up to date and are looking for new people to explore our brave new world!I won't say much more, except don't expect someone to always be online when you first login ( Usually someone is online, but not always), we are trying to grow remember, and hopefully it will become much more crowded in the next few days. :) Some things you should know about GolemLand:

Your work is safe with us

While no server is safe from EVER being reset, we have a special realm frozen with 1.6.2 terrain generation that is designed to be a "safe build" zone that will never be wiped. It is linked via a portal in the basement of the spawn fort. The main world is 1.7.4, fully up to date, and has all the cool terrain features. No patching is neccesary to move between the worlds.

We are a (mostly) vanilla server

Besides the above and some admin side plugins, we try to keep it as vanilla as possible.

    We are a no-pvp server

We have a PVP Arena though, for consensual combat. :)

    We are whitelisted

Please go to golemland.com to fill out an application in the right subforum (applications is the forum you want). Once done, the ip is golemland.com. It's really quite easy and we have a fast approval time from our insomniac mods!

    We are a legit server

I only spawn things when horrible horrible glitches eat items (this hasn't happened too often). Everything else is earned, and I never spawn something that hadn't previously existed.Ok, enough chatter, screenshots!

Fort Noober (our spawn fort) is a sight to behold:

    More impressive, is our arena.
Our most recent addition, a pvp arena for consensual pvp and tournements! We even have a horse racing track! There is a tourney scheduled in April as will, so you have time to prepare! And finally, you can check out our work on the following livemaps (one for each realm):

Yes I should mention that our hosting arangement has changed, but it has not really reduced performance. Actually Australian members may see an increase in performance (we used to have abysmal ping to that region, but now it's pretty decent).

Bump for new recruitment! We are again recruiting because several members have dropped out. Please keep in mind we aren't going anywhere, this server is here to stay. If you log in and see no one online, give it some time, I'll keep recruiting until our numbers reach normal levels again. I try to keep the server small, but no TOO small. Ideally we like having about 8 players online at peak and 1-2 minimum online throughout most of the day. Help us get back to that number!

If you'd like to get an idea of what our community is like, here is our screenshot thread. The oldest ones are from a previous map, but it gives you an idea:

    Hello.

If you want an official update from me, I'm finally alive and people in my family have stopped dying. My father is nearly 100% cured of cancer and things are looking up.

If you want to play with something now, look up the Bukkit plugin TerrainControl yes.

If you want an original RTB-branded version of awesome, I will be making a plugin version of this for Spout/Vanilla, a ground up rewrite of minecraft that is also in alpha.

This new version will perform better due to not being limited by Bukkit and minecraft itself (multithreading people!) but it also may be a VERY LONG TIME before it matches features of anything like TerrainControl.

Just something to keep an eye on. ;)

Will make you an account now, and pm you the details. :)

    EDIT: Both of you, lol.

Also, it's probably empty now because I'm busy doing recruiting, but there'll be people this eveing. It's true! Our regulars just have school, unfortunately.

    Hello all.

I'm here to tell you about my server, golemland. It's relatively small and unknown, but boasts a large amount of horsepower (a dedicated i7 system in a tier 1, battery/diesel generator backed backed datacenter). It's got a small friendly community that has shrank over the years slightly, so we are once again recruiting! We'd love to welcome you as part of our world (new as of 1.3.2, though the server is almost a year old with nearly 99.9% uptime!)

About me, so you can know your admin is cool ™: Some of you may recongize me as the creator of the relatively dead mod PhoenixTerrainMod. Some of you may have no idea what I am talking about. That's ok if you don't, just know I am a cool admin and have choosen my staff accordingly. Rules are simple and basically amount to 1.) Have fun. 2.) Don't grief. 3.) Don't build dangerous contraptions without warning admins and players first.

About the name: The server is called Golemland, and is named after the forum from which it initially sprung. Not much more to say there, but expect a bunch of strategy game nerds from the main forum it came from. :)

About the plugins: This is a bukkit server, but aims to be as vanilla as possible and have no restrictive map borders (that's right, you can explore infinitely!), or other limitiations to core vanilla gameplay. We've been running since November 2011, and have a small but dedicated userbase. With a little signup effort you can be part of that budding community!

The only plugin we have that changes core gameplay is one that allows lockable chests.

That's it. Otherwise all plugins are on admin side and we are pure vanilla.

Why you should join: Why should you play here? Because we're awesome. Not only that, but we have very few griefing incidents, an unlimited borderless map, and a high performance i7 quad core in a tier 1 datacenter with 100mbps upload/download. We stick to vanilla gameplay and log everything, so griefing is totally reversible and totally pointless to attempt. We run in a ramdrive and performance is generally awesome. The server is hosted in Torronto, Canada, so if you are closer to there you'll have less lag of course, but we have players from as far away as Portugal and Chile who find it very playable!

    Check out our livemap!

    http://golemland.com/livemap

Bottom line: How to sign up

To prevent more griefing than our 3 man mod team can handle, I've made it neccesary to apply on the forums to play or apply in this thread. You simply sign up, do the confirmation email thing, then post an application in the application forum about why you want to join us. You can find that here:

    http://glacialsoftware.com/GolemLand/community/forums/applications.4/

To simplify this process, you can also just apply on this forum thread if that's easier.

It doesn't have to be long. Be sure and include your minecraft ID though! Once that is done, you'll be playing within 24 hours in a mostly virgin world with a few small settlements. The connection details is also, tada: Golemland.com

We are a North America (Toronto) server but europeans are encouraged to join and explore the late night empty server and create their own settlement. At least one mod approves applications at that time so turn around won't be too long for you to get in.

What are you waiting for? We have a very high performance, griefer-safe vanilla gameplay experience. That's hard to find! Put your application in today!

Heh, no problem. I don't know why bukkit does that, to be honest.

posted a message on 1.4.2 update - nether regenerated
Hey all, I'm the admin with extreme sleep issues. I also know how to fix this issue in SMP moving from bukkit to vanilla.

Bukkit renames the folders for the nether. If your world folder is called "world" they are supposed to be in world/DIM-1 and world/DIM1. Bukkit throws those folders in world_nether/DIM-1 and world_the_end/DIM1. Erasing your regenerated world/DIM-1 and world/DIM1 and putting the bukkit equivalent DIM-1/DIM1 in your old world folder fixes the issue.

    Your crazy golemland server admin,
