    More messing with item routers has me hitting a wall with full inventories. Setting a router to output the same output to two sides with two different chests doesn't work well when one chest becomes full. Instead of defaulting to the other valid output it pops items into the world half the time. This makes maintaining a bio reactor with full efficiency difficult when the overflow from one needs to route over to the next in the chain.

    I'm testing out some farm designs, and it seems using gold pipes with a constant stream of items from a tree farm will overload an item router and pop out the wood/saplings. Which is easily solved by using conveyors like a real man, but for vertical transport this could be a headache. Are item routers supposed to have a limited throughput?

    Would there be interest in an advanced lamp block that can change colors depending on the rednet signal sent to it? The Thermal Expansion Luminator is fantastic with the options it gives to redstone control, but there is no way to change the color on the fly. Should I just pitch this to King Lemming?

    Are the precharger lasers on the Laser Drill limited to a single space away due to performance issues, or a design decision? I'd like to have a long horizontal laser conduit beaming through a base to the drill like a driveshaft of light. This could even offer a way to change the color of the laser by placing tinted glass in the way of the prechargers. Or extending it even further, assigning ores to different colors so you can specify a focus for the drill, say having a red tinted laser increase the chance of getting iron ore.

    Not even caring about the mechanical effect here, It'll probably look cool.

    Good work on the Rednet stuff. Gonna really appreciate having a painless timer.

    I notice the faces for inputs/outputs of the rednet cables have a red decorative trim. Would it be possible to have that color be changeable/reflect the color of the cable it is firing? Would make levers connected to the network a little easier to troubleshoot.

    Okay, here is a question to those who comb this thread extensively: How satisfied are people/Azanor with the structure of the second tier of research? Has somebody given some statement on the issue?

    Primarily the nature of the Theory of Everything and how researching around it is pretty difficult. I keep bumping into it trying to research other things like warded stone/doors. Even when researching the essentia for basic things I bump into the Theory of Everything. Is there eventually gonna be a thing like in tier 1, where various separate discoveries need to be made before unlocking the next tier, or is there a bug where some theory will always pop up when trying to research other theories with the same essentia?

    Done and done

    Normally I dislike skyblocks because building floating strucutres is a pain in the ass and Feed The Beast maps because EMC is such an abstracted universal currency that no one material matters. Props to you buddy for solving that second problem enough for me to endure through the first. And keeping the tedium to a minimum.

    I think I may have installed this incorrectly, as TMI never popped up and Enchanting Plus would not enchant the Thaumcraft enchants. Reading other accounts of the four trials teleport not working made me search for the coordinates to teleport towards, and that fix worked fine. One quest that requires a potion of harming only accepts potions made a specific way when there are multiple ways of making said potion.

    Frustrating parts have mostly been covered already, like sand/cactus taking a good while and nodes being difficult to integrate. The NPC mod doesn't seem to allow shift-clicking for trading so 1 to 1 resources like smoothstone to dirt take a ton of clicking to go through. Higher ratio trades, like 4 smoothstone/bricks to 4 dirt, would be nice to have. Discovering specific Thaumcraft items can be difficult, like trying to research golems and never getting that theory to pop up until you research every single other discovery that uses those aspects. Quests to get specific discoveries like golems would be nice.

    I'm only pointing out the technical issues and frustrations first because I know you need that most. Every other aspect of this map was a joy to go through. Here on out is just how I approached different parts of the map. Due to the way I built my roads I never had to make a mob grinder, picking up the remains every morning provided me with a chest full of resources I never had to use. The nether shot shows my poor mans pig grinder, just wailing away at a crowd of pigmen through a barricade with a looting sword for all my gold. Good times when I forgot that the silverwood trees I spawned earlier made a node I never sealed after melting down swords into nuggets. Blazes took a few deaths while I built a platform around them, but I never needed many rods as blaze powder can be farmed with a fortune tool and the thaumcraft flower that drops it. Something about the quest system is a hit because every time I completed a Gnollboss quest I checked every other NPC for more quests to complete.

    I really hope you make another one, this was a blast to finish.

    I'm having some difficulties adding this via Magic Launcher. Dropped this and the latest version of Forge in the Mods folder but enabling them both at once seem to cause issues. Anybody got any advice for making this play nice?

    Heya Azanor, I know you are moving away from the liquid vis system, but with this new rewrite could you possibly keep the stuff around? I've always wanted open pools of the stuff to have around like the reckless wizards we all are. Just open vats of magic water letting off fumes we probably should not be breathing in but don't worry about it we know what we are doing.

    Righto, good stuff this mod. A few rough edges but you plan on reworking a bunch of this stuff so no problem.

    There is one cosmedic feature that would be neat, using these glowing flowers as more pratical lightsources. I currently harvest them with shears and plop them around my home for a really neat effect and would kinda like to see a torch version. Angled on a wall and harder to pop off with a chunk update.

    There is a whole discussion of advancing the species and how our own mortality is inherently something we need to face and not fear in order to really live, but I'm not really feelin' it. I think you need to master the fear of death before you can rule immortality as something advantageous. And if you are gunning for immortality then you probably have some latent fear of death you need to overcome.

    We got him in July when he was three months old.

    He was around ten months when he died.

    The thing that keeps on getting to me is how empty the house is when I come home.
