I use Chrome, I don't know if it would be better for you but I've never had any problems.

Also, I checked out the blog and it looks like it needs some polishing. It didn't really catch my eye, it looks kinda blah. It should probably be a lot flashier if it's for kids. I'm not a kid but I know it needs to be way more exciting. A.D.D. runs rampant these days so you really gotta get their attention, you know? Your title isn't great and it's crammed between a bunch of pictures. I'd get rid of the game logos and pictures at the top and just have your title and ONE symbol if any. It should be something that sums up the whole site. Make categories for the main games you want to cover. Look at a lot of other blogs so you can see what looks good and get inspired from them. That might be a good start.

Oh yeah, you'll want to have TONS of nice, clear pictures too.

Are you experiencing any crashing too or is it only FPS related?

It's too bad there even needs to be these rules.

Unfortunately, crashing happens a lot, to a lot of people. I've become so used to it I hardly notice anymore. Hopefully this will be solved soon.

A solution to your *other* problem: Make your desktop background a screenshot of you playing Minecraft. Then it'll look like you're always playing.

I have a photobucket account, I upload my pictures there and then I just use the forum [img] code and put that in the post.

Start a new map, don't move (You should be staring at the sun), let the game load for a minute then take a screenshot. Here's a pretty boring one.

You can actually see the chunk borders. Sometimes they are very obvious like this. Since the world is randomly generated chunk by chunk, there's a chance that cliffs like this can appear.

Sometimes I lag a bit when I'm uncovering new parts of the map. Does the lag come and go or is it constant after it begins? Also, how big are your map files?

Hey I'm sorry to hear about that. I feel you there, I've been in situations like that. I know you're upset but you have to know that Notch has basically had to do everything himself until very recently. Imagine all of a sudden being the center of so much. I am sure that he's been getting thousands of emails every day and one person can't read every one and get to every problem. He's had to deal with these server problems and just getting the game out. It sucks to fall through the cracks, I know. But I'm sure very soon there will be much better support as the company grows.
