I see that many people are criticizing my plea for anti-criticism.
I said that because I could foresee how many people would interpret the idea, I do know that it's lazy, but that's the whole point.
It doesn't take "three seconds to click the ground". You have to a) wait for the leaves to decay or break the leaves yourself. If this was implemented then it would still be beneficial to the player by sticking around to pick up the leaf drops because the apples that can drop wouldn't plant would they?
The criticisms on this thread should be about actual technical problems with saplings auto-planting, not with being lazy.
I would have thought that ender gloves would be an items where you right click a block with them equipped, and then it replaces the "ender gloves" with "ender gloves (block you picked up)". Basically lets you be a semi-enderman.
Thought having the items go straight to enderchest inventory is probably simpler and better for mass mining.
I have recently finished the Eragon series (Inheritance cycle) and i thought it would be cool to have that kind of dragon in minecraft! (i don't know how to code AIs.) you would obtain/find a dragon egg, which would be in things like chests in villages, dungeons, etc. or get them as you would a chicken egg from a dragon. once placed, you would wait an interval of time and a small dragon of a random coloration would spawn and the egg would disappear. it would grow gradually bigger every minute or so. it is automatically tamed if you placed the egg. in about 3 minecraft days (about 60 minutes) your dragon will be big enough to ride. you can press "B" to blast fire (25 fire charges and a breathing fire animation) the dragon will continue to grow and if you die it dies, and may or may not leave an egg at your spawn point. work in progress and i will try to design a skin for it and a breathing fire animation.

What if you could tint glass different colors? Using dye on glass would tint it the corresponding color but still have the same amount of transparency. This would make much better glass, in my opinion.
