I think that storing exp is a necessary addition to minecraft but it should be achieved with bottles of enchanting or a special item interacting with an enchantment table.
You're idea is good and it would solve the problem of losing vast amounts of exp, but I don't agree with it because there are things already in the game that, if changed, could easily be used for exp storage.
Pistons can't push beds for the same reason they cannot push other ejected pistons and chests.
A bed is two blocks so a piston trying to push either of the "bed blocks" would result in only that block being moved, and the other being left behind. If a player had slept in the bed it would also remove the ability for the player to respawn at that bed(because like a chest the block has the data or whatever saved to it).
First of all- What the hell does the OP mean by "pig intensity" or "enhanced pigs".
I think by enhanced pigs he means genetically modified pigs. If that's the case I'll have to politely disagree with your terrible and unnecessary idea.
But pigs do need some more reason to be farmed over cows.
It would be a great help for chunk errors and it would be good for people with computers not optimised for games(not that minecraft is a very hard game to run).
I'll have to say that anything that can help optimize performance is a valuable addition to the game.
Stoves/frying pans are kind of unnecessary additions to minecraft. Furnaces and brewing stands(and maybe to some extent cauldrons) should be the only things needed for cooking processes.
What exactly would the insects add? I'm going to assume that bees add honey which can be harvested and eaten. But I'm not sure what the possible uses of an ant in minecraft could be.

I guess it does give a dispenser more value but throwing a fire charge would be extremely helpful when fighting.

-Throw it in lava.
-Win.
But anyway, the only reason lava destroys diamond as an item is because it destroys all items. Cacti destroying items is a little silly though.
