I'm glad to hear that! BOP is great for survival servers, good choice on adding it to your server. It adds so much to exploration, and with a good texture pack, all the new logs/planks/stones/flowers/leaves/vines/things add a lot to comfy building. I use Dandelion and it has great BOP support but I'd love to see it in your pack too.

I saw you just posted your list of planned mods for supporting a few pages back, is there a way I could bribe you to consider Biomes o' Plenty?

Do you have a more comprehensive list of what hasn't been implemented from 1.6.4 to 1.7.2? All I know so far is that the Promised Land isn't, but with a mod this huge, it's hard to find out what is missing from a user perspective.

Hey Steelfeathers, any word on new BOP textures? I just came back to minecraft and BOP and it looks like things have been changed around quite a bit. Before I set into the task of figuring out what needs to be updated/replaced/textured from scratch on my own, I wanted to see if you already knew what's needed, if you had stuff done, or if you wanted some help!

    Edit:
I figured out what needs updating.

berrybush.png is now two separate files, a bush and a berry overlay
bamboo.png is now a single shaft and has an added bambootop.png

Thank you! I installed JRE 7 and uninstalled 6, and now everything works fine. AnvilMapper is definitely my favorite mapping tool, and I really like some of the features that Mapwriter has that are missing from Rei's. Thanks for making and updating this mod! Have you thought about adding the ability to import waypoints from Rei's?

I can't get AnvilMapper to run, and this is the message I'm getting. I have not edited any files but the MapColors file (with BOP colors) and the world folder.

Can anyone help me out? I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

EDIT: Also, is there a way to import a world into Mapwriter so that all generated chunks are in the map, without having to re-explore all that land?

    Quote from TDWP_FTW

I don't like the typical orange grass for autumn themed stuff. I prefer a more "realistic" yellow-green grass.

That gave me a totally different thought, have you considered adding fallen leaves? They pile on the ground under trees like snow would maybe? Make a nice crunching noise when you walk through them. Could be cool.

Now everybody just simmer down, simmer down now. It ain't gonna get backported, so lets all just accept that life presents you with choices and sometimes you gotta pick 1.5.2 or 1.6.2 and there ain't no way to get every mod. You gotta make choices in life. It's a part of growing up.

Anyways. What kind of structures are you planning? Spires sound pretty interesting in the wasteland, have you got a teaser pic? I'd definitely like to see more generated structures in minecraft, because mineshafts and villages it's like, you've seen one you've seen them all.

It really is an incredible mod. I'm glad I could get you into it enough to do support for it, and I'm glad you didn't have to completely redo everything. No offense is taken at the logs/planks, don't worry. With something like 16 different logs and planks to do, I pretty much just spent effort on the ones I knew I wanted to use and then threw the rest together however. You can kind of see that in the gem blocks too, where I just put my hands up and hue/saturation adjusted those. I'm also glad you included a screenshot of the sunflowers because that is one of very few textures I actually made from scratch, and I'm pretty proud of it.

P.S. Yeah the split texture format is the worst for trying to make things work together.

Haha I actually have no idea. I manually installed it into the mod's file. I'm not sure how to make resource packs do that automatically with forge mods, unfortunately. The guys in the Biomes O' Plenty thread probably know, they have a texture pack compatibility list in the first post.

I did actually end up finishing most of the Biomes O Plenty textures, mostly with edits and color swaps, some things from scratch. A few things never got finished, bamboo and palm leaves being the two that stand out, but for the most part, it will blend perfectly with Dandelion. (thank you for color palettes)

Anyhow, here is a link if you want it Steelfeathers. Feel free to edit or distribute how you want since it's all derivative of your textures anyways.

What's up Magi, I'm thinking about joining, so here's an application.

    Your in-game name: LuciferZ

What do you like to be called by? (Like being called Lee instead of Leeman): Lucifer, Z, Luci, whatever.

    Your Steam account name: LuciferZ

    Timezone*: EST -5

How did you find out about CoM/The Agion Server(s)?: I've known about you guys since the dawnatime. Or at least when Shadowdusk started the clan like... four years ago now? That's how I found out. In all of that.

Why do you want to join CoM?: I'm looking for a clan that's more about building and just chillin' than PVP, and I don't want to be buried in mods and server plug ins. Your clan is a clan that I know pretty well, that's well established, and has a server that doesn't require me to learn a trillion bukkit commands.

What can you offer to make CoM better?(Screenshots/videos/experience*) : A lot of stuff. I'm a very experienced minecraft player, and an excellent builder from small to large scale projects. Some previous builds that I contributed to are cities like Notchgard, Port Luxferre, and Euphoria; and projects like the RMM HQ and the short lived War Council building. As far as clan experience goes... Uh, well, if you recognize me you probably already know that I've been around minecraft clans since their inception, and I think my history with the Royal Minecraft Militia probably speaks for my leadership abilities. Also my ability to totally burn Arch-Magi but I swear those days are in the past. If you don't recognize me then that's probably for the best, but in summary I built and led the only clan remaining that's older than CoM.

About yourself (age, gender, interests, where you're from, etc) : 23, male, Florida, not going into interests rn

Do you agree to check the thread often and post your opinion on clan matters?: Yeah.

Will you use one of our banners?(optional) Probably not but only because I'm not active on the forums and I dislike signatures anyways.

Hey, I'm having a minor issue with this mod in multiplayer. Spring water isn't having any effect. It shows the regeneration animation on the health bar, and the buff for 00:00 in your inventory, but no healing actually happens. Is this a known bug, or something that I might be able to fix?

Yeah so, i guess updating from 5.6 to 5.7 breaks generation on existing maps? so exploring into new chunks will give you those square cliffs and sharp changes, yeah?
