posted a message on McMyAdmin - Adding a backup task
Solution - At PhonicUK's suggestion, I was able to add the event using Chrome on a remote machine, instead of IE8 which is running on the server. Logging back into the server the newly scheduled event shows up, looks like everything is ready to rock.

    Thanks PhonicUK for the support!

It's not that the event isn't firing, it's that I can't even add it to the schedule. I can add an X minute or X hour, but not a once per day event.

Everything is up and running OK. I shut down my web admin session, relogged in, and this time tried a different schedule option as a test.

Every 12 hours - Take a backup of the world - Works perfectly, snaps up in the schedule in an instant
Then I tried Once Per Day at 04:30 - Backup the current world - Add Event spins and spins, doesn't add the event.

Then I tried Every X minutes, and it works perfectly. I only have the issue trying to add it as a once per day event.

I'm trying to add a backup task to the server schedule, and can't seem to get it to take. What is it asking for in the "data" field, and is something required there to add the task? When I try to add a once a day backup now the Add Event status circle just spins forever and never adds the task.

I searched around and went through the wiki but didn't find anything.

    Thanks for the assistance!

Yeah I'm fully aware of the history of MCAdmin. I still find it the easiest server app to use, maintain and configure.

I've done several reboots on both the server app and the server itself, but still the problem persists.

Everytime the automatic backup tries to run I get the following error:

Just from the first part of the error it looks like it can't read the r.-1.-1.mcr file since it's in use, and the error occurs no matter if people are online or not.

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what I might to do resolve. Thanks!

posted a message on Check this redstone circuit, where am I wrong?
So I built this to hide under a friends castle - basically 2 note blocks set on glass with 2 different notes programmed, makes a nice tick tock sound. The way I have it built it seems to work Ok for a random amount of time, then the circuit will lock up, either everything on or everything off. I've tried the repeater switch in all 4 positions, it will stop eventually in each mode.

    What am I doing wrong?

PS - in this screenshot it's working.

Hey guys, quick question for you. I got MCAdmin up and running fine, and I'm able to connect great! Once in world I was able to chop one tree plus its leaves, but since then I cannot harvest any blocks of any type, they just pop right back in. I bumped up default level to admin to test it out and it does the same thing.

I searched around first but couldn't find any info. Thanks for the help!
