posted a message on The griefing problem.
griefing by definition is harrassement. it is unacceptable behavior in ANY medium. It has no age prevalence. The attitude people take that griefing can be acceptable are the same type of people that condone bullying and lying to other people they don't know in person over the internet.

The stance of allowing griefing needs to stop. This is akin to the line in the sand and someone makes a new line a few inches forward and you continually step over since its just another inch. As an admin, I have a zero tolerance on griefing. You grief, you're banned; period.

    Quote from Pig_Slayer55

Lets use an analogy, If someone starts abusing you and your family and your friends you wont do anything to hurt them because it is wrong? (you cant go to the police or government or anything)

thats not an analogy because its not the same situation. Lets assume you and your family go on vacation and stay at some fancy resort. And every employee treats you like crap. Nothing illegal mind you, just bad service. Do you have the right to trash your hotel room and those of neighboring rooms and take a **** in the pool?

This is the problem with the mentality of today's youth. You think you have the god given right to be dickheads anywhere you please. It's quite possibly the reason why server admins behave as they do that you're intending to grief. It's called perpetuation of a system that's inherently wrong.

ffs, alot of children in this thread. intentionally griefing someone else on someone elses server puts you in the wrong no matter how wrong they've treated you or anyone else. You have no rights on someone elses server. There's no "justice" given unto you for griefing them.

posted a message on Looking for a HOWTO on building an Exp Farm
monkeyfarms I think is the only one I know of that uses no water or pistons and could handle endermen.

the difficulty with endermen is you need to drop them farther to bring them to half a heart in health and anywhere an endermen can spawn the others will as well and would die in the distance needed to wound endermen. I dont know of people specifically targeting endermen for exp farming. I can see grinding them for their drops though.

posted a message on What do you consider the priority list starting fresh?
Not so much a guide to the first day or two in minecraft. More of a list of goals that a player should maybe focus on to allow progressing to the next set of goals easier. I know I get carried away myself. So what I think is my little list in order:

Stone tools ( punch tree and get first wood pick than go get some cobblestone ASAP )
Shelter ( I've gone so far as to swim out to sea and build a short dirt post to stand on for the night )
Torches ( luck depending on coal near the spawn or resorting to more wood thrown in the furnace.)
wheat farm ( i always neglect getting a farm going early and it hurts sometimes )
iron pick and water bucket ( everything stops till I get these once the first goals are done )
full iron armor ( done during the initial foray heading down to layer 12 to establish the primary mine )

Once I have the above set its all about getting the main home built the way you want. It's at this stage I get side tracked and never have a proper order to things. Animal taming/breeding, chickens for arrow production, auto-harvest wheat farm, etc... What do you guys do at this point first? Work on sugar cane to get enchanting setup? XP farms?

I've been busy today and kept thinking about this one nagging thing I'd love to see changed in minecraft. Free flowing liquids like terraria.

    What do you think?

What one thing would you like to see changed?
