    The spawn rate for every mob is variable. .minecraft/config/LK.properties. Ill look into the Centaur issue.

    I wish Zekey had done alternate skins for cats, too. I'm not really a big fan of Loafcraft, though I admit the textures are beautiful. But a Zekocraft-styled cat would be even more awesome.

    We have discussed this as well. I agree, the textures are superb. But i would like to be able to offer a 'Notch' style and 'Zekey' style textures. Hopefully when he has the time, we can release some different cat skins. Also my plan was to have the Pygmy come in multiple colors. We shall see. :smile.gif:

    Your friendly neighborhood Kingpin here...
    First i want to thank everyone for the positive feedback here on the thread and in PMs. I am a little overwhelmed.

    I have updated the OP to show the new content and features. The old development/preview vids are still available through the link to my Youtube channel (right under the Kingpin Kritters banner). But i would love to post some new vids showing off all of the old and new content. I also posted a quick update today. It introduces a new texture for the Anubis dog and a few other small tweaks not worth mentioning here. Be sure to pick it up and do a fresh install.

    Still working on the project in my free time and i plan on releasing an update in the coming weeks.

    Again, thank you ALL for the support.

    Like was stated a few posts back and in the README. The spawn rate for all mobs are fully adjustable. That is the nature of the beast with randomly generated games. Sometimes you wont find any, sometimes they are all up in your face meowing. The properties file can be found here: .minecraft/config/LK.properties. It is generated after the first time you run Minecraft with the Kritter Kollection installed.

    Just uploaded the newest release for the Kritter Kollection. 1.3 introduces 3 new mobs and one new item. Centaurs can be found roaming deserts, plains, and sometimes the swamps. Natives to the Minecraft world, i call these guys Pygmy, can be found roaming around everywhere for now. Anubis Dogs will come out at night to try out there hunting skills on you. And the new item is a banana. Just some regular food that will be used in the next update if everything goes as planned.

    Quick note: The cats, all of them, are again able to be tamed. But there is a bug that causes them to become untamed if you close the Minecraft client. Working on that. And i will be changing the OP with pics of the new mobs and details about them. For now check out the README for more info. Im off to get one more day in of 'The Old Republic' beta.

    EDIT: As always, spawn rate for each mob can be adjusted in the props file. I rushed this release because of a certain beta weekend event. Properties file is located: .minecraft/config/LK.properties.

    I will change the banner when the new mobs are released, so that you can see every mob of your mod.

    Edit: Yea the fishies aren´t on the banner cause I need a lighter picture of them, but I will add all the mobs as soon as you have updatet :wink.gif:


    WOW, Bocky, just WOW!!!!! I really like the banner. Its definitely much better than the one i made. Thanks so much for the continued support and the kick ass banners you have created. Im sure the one with the new mobs will look just as gorgeous.

    Thanks so much for the heads-up, Balth. My work is pretty much ready for another release. Yea it took me a bit to find all the new changes to Modloader. I blame The Old Republic beta for the delay. Not a bad game, btw. After some testing, i should be ready to release the new version today. With 3 new mobs!!

    As soon as MCP and ModLoader are updated. And i am hoping that there isnt a lot of code changes in Minecraft. The update should be out a day or two after MCP is updated. I am still having some issues with the taming code. But cats and (hopefully) gorillas WILL be tamable.

    I believe there is a jungle biome in Minecraft. But for now i think i will have a mob drop the taming item. I am also working on a new monster that comes out at night. We need a four legged creature, like some sort of demon dog. Dont you think? I do. So i may be calling this next release to the Kingpin Kritter Kollection an expansion, entitled the Mythical Update.
